Its incredible how easily this game reminded me of the feelings of rage I had back when I was a gacha addict as an f2p. Never thought they'd come back to me this way.
Anyways, with only 5 days left, I'll sadly have to succumb to my luck and leave the final balloon unclaimed. I'll also not use any of the other cosmetics I got cuz there would be no point.
After watching CringeAlarm recently playing Rogue in the pro matches, I realize he has a very high precision on his combos where he slips in punches in between his chrono kicks instead of using them both consecutively. It made his playstyle faster and was therefore dishing out more dmg faster. I know you gotta press the melee button to do the punches while the kicks are active but I don't have any combos or tricks in knowledge on how I can make clean plays using them.
I need more threatening combos instead of the simpler ones.
I only came back to rivals two days ago and I was so excited to buy and play the new skin after seeing everybody else rock it. I then see we gotta play like a whole dozen matches to gain xp to try hook the rewards, only to see these demonic duds spread all across between the good rewards which only give you like 10 chrono tokens.
Like, this is some satanic type shi right here man. You gotta be super evil to put this in your pass to make people play more istg 😭
You play a hundread games to gain small xp for a single pull but then pull these demonic poop stains instead, cuz my bad my space bar pressing wasn't on point 😭

Was playing qp as usual and I honestly feel people in overwatch (at least in qp) just don't care about your team comms. Every time I died on Kiri, I opened my mic to tell my teammate, who were getting out of spawn, to let me tp.
Nothing. They keep walking exactly out of my tp range and don't even bother caring for it or care enough to look around. So I thought maybe their voice chats are off so I'll text chat em. In very clear ALL CAPS i tell my team to just look behind a little and check if their Kiri needs a tp out of spawn so I can get to point faster. Welp, that entire round I didnt get a single tp out of spawn.
In fact, there was this moment (clip) where I was shouting my lungs out to the Rym to give me tp but he just did not care. He didnt care whether he had any teammates around him or not. Result? My Sierra died the moment I was able to reach point, losing crucial dmg aginst their unfathomable survivability. i saw my Rym walk all the way to point and I was just helpless. I had to just walk with him. Had he let me tp a bit earlier, I could've saved my Sierra and positioned myself better to support the team, rather than having to tp into a fuckin JQ.
I honestly wish people who don't bother with comms could grow even a tiny bit of braincells to check around for their team if they not gonna listen to them. This is frustrating af.
Finally got my first MVP with our girl and I realize one thing...
She's very capable of being an active second support ONLY if she has THE HOOD team-up. Her basic projectiles are underwhelming and gets easily outperformed, and while you try to do any dmg, its almost non exitant at times. The team-up is single handedly a life savior and turns her into a very strong pick. It happens whenever you have any speedy motion active. So either with your dash or with the atk speed increase on bursting your bubble. This may sound situational but if you're able to time it right and practice a little, you can have your bubble burst happening majority of times. So your team-up can have way more up-time just like your projectile. In fact, I probably have way more healing via this team-up than my normal atks.
On the other hand, the Blade team-up is absolute garbage. The life steal is weak and there's no situation I can be in that the life steal would help me sustain better than my own bubble on myself.
Big advice - ditch the blade team-up even if you get the enhanced effect and play around the hood team-up. It 10x better.
This might be the first time Rogue rejected my Remy advances so hard 🥹
This is just quickplay but the game was sweaty. We were already struggling with teamwork and were double ulting almost every time. But what confused me the most was during this push to the fight, my rocket decided to ult at the strangest spot and at the strangest times. My team was all full health and we took out their main tank just immediately. I called them out on it but they didnt respond. They're level 14 on Rocket so its not like they're even new to him.
Does this have some strategic value that went missing that i'm too dumb to understand or what.
Idk man. Getting hit with cc like this here doesn't feel any different from how it was before. I left the game for a long while earlier and probably lack proper understanding of the changes but I thought the tenacity change was supposed to make it so moments like these dont happen? Or was it that in some ways the cc counts here were mistaken by the system to not trigger the tenacity effect? Or am I completely mistaken? Do help me figure this out a little please.
