I have been an Emma main ever since she came out, close to 200 hours on the character, but I fell in love with Rogue's gameplay loop and fell, doesn't matter if she's weak, or if gambit's always banned, everytime Emma isn't working I bust out my good old Chér, and sometimes I can even make her work teamup-less in t500 lobbies
You absorb all that smh but then you can’t even use it with the counter attack because the cooldowns are tied together.
Like it’s so counter intuitive it encourages you to not sue the defensive stance otherwise you risk not being able to use southern brawl for dmg or to escape enemies.
Whoever thought it made sense to do that should be fired.
And why does tapping southern brawl make the usage timer go down so much. You tap it to try and maintain full charge on defensive stance and all you do is make the cooldown longer it’s dumb
They didnt have to make her show so much skin. Or atleast give an edit style wheres she is not lewd but still sexy. What do you guys think with the jeans?
I’ve changed her sensitivity but idk if there’s anything else that would help a lot. I would appreciate if someone shared their combat settings 🥹
there's no way we're deadass, dd is so good into rogue that genuinely the second i see one i instantly switch to strange. At least thing you can play around

Magik main here. Don’t be fooled tho she’s the only dps character I play. I’ve gotten a lot of practice playing various tanks like Strange, Devil dino, Emma, Groot,Venom, Angela, Thing.
If any of the listed characters’ gameplay loop I play can be compared to rogue in anyway, would appreciate any advice. I tried her out a couple times but just can’t figure out her gameplay loop.
for context I main magik and recently wanted to pick up rogue (maybe because of the skin)
I only have a couple of hours on her, but have been struggling killing healers because they run away with one health left. It's not like I don't know how to dive i play magik, but it feels like she does not have the burst damage. If anyone can give me some advice that would be much appreciated.

Balance Proposals:
First and foremost, REMOVE Hearts as One. Having her balance tied down to a Team Up is ridiculous. Season 8.5 will be the third season since her release (12/12/2025).
To be clear, I would never expect multiple of these to be implemented. Rogue, as a Brawler, doesn't quite have the staying power other have to remain in a brawl. The following are not intended to be added all at once but reflect potential resolutions to each ability outside of "Lower Rogue's cooldowns."
Tenacity, as a whole, needs to be revisited (remove it in my opinion. Tanks aren't the ones benefitting from this nearly as often as Duelists and Strategists). I mean, come on. Tenacity was highlighted in her new skin reveal... That... was just embarrassing.

At present, she has to exhaust a CHRONO KICK COMBO, a 10s cooldown, and land each piercing projectile for +50 Bonus HP/target hit.

I mentioned it earlier but Rogue is often vulnerable to damage during the 0.75s absorption.

Obviously, Rogue can use a lot of love. Freeing her from Team Up dependency and improving her sustain as a melee Brawler is crucial. These changes are intended to lower the barrier for entry. Rogue is a highly skill expressive character (especially with how we've adapted to the Tenacity mechanics). There's much more that could be done but I feel like this let's the team up live on to a small degree while serving not as a large damage boost but as a means of sustain.
Thoughts and considerations? Outside of cooldowns, I feel like Chrono Kick Combo and Fatal Attraction are fine. Increasing the ring's range to match the proposed Heartseeker range of 10m was a consideration but I decided against overwhelming you all with my proposals. Attached images included so that new players could take a look at and reference her kit.
EDIT: Corrected Movement Speed buff to match Thor and Hulk.
The new cowgirl skin when compared with the savage land skin has lost muscle? She's almost entirely lost her abs? I really hope this doesn't beocem a trend because I personally like seeing a woman who can throw around big robots.... Look like she could throw around big robots
If People are saying Rogue can’t be Buffed because her team up with Gambit makes her too strong. Why is a character’s value being determined by their team ups? Also, why can’t she be Meta? Why can’t a melee Brawler be Meta for once?
Hela has been Meta in Marvel rivals since the goddamn BETA.
In Namors case, his base kit gets Buffs at the cost of the Team up being “Nerfed”. But it’s really not actually.
In terms of Gameplay, nobody will look at you with a serious face and say Namor takes more skill than Rogue. All it does is make Hela undivable and Vanguard’s lives miserable.
Right now, after the release of Devil Dinosaur Rogue feels like Shit to play. And i wouldn’t trust Zhiyong at all with the Tenacity bullshit and the Disgusting Buffs to Phoenix of all characters.
It might be too op but it would be nice to hold onto absorbed abilities longer. The stat bonuses like extra health from tanks would be nice too
