People actively gaslight/placebo themselves into thinking ai art looks bad.
If you show someone a image of an art piece, and tell them it was AI generated, they will most likely claim it lacks "Soul" that it has "Mistakes" and that it just straight up looks bad, however if you do this, but don't tell them they will most likely say it looks neat or nice,
One of the most recent examples of this is a tweet stating they generated a monet-styled photo with ai, they asked to explain how it was inferior, the commentors explained it the best they could saying it "Lacked emotion" However in reality it was a real monet painting, people actively change their entire view on a painting/drawing if you claim it was ai generated.
In my opinion this pretty much proves that ai art dosent actually look "soulless" in any way shape or form, people just gaslight/placebo themselves into thinking it is once they are told it was ai generated.
i would like different perspectives on this since i think its genuniely fascinating.
/tldr : ai art dosent actually look that bad and people just gaslight/placebo themselves into thinking it is
