I was wondering if any of the monsters do any workshops and have you been? What was your experience?

This idea is in early stages but I'm hoping to have an all-day event with local monsters and 3-4 Dragula monsters next year in England. As part of that, I wanted to see if any of the monsters offered workshops for people in the community that might not otherwise be able to attend the festival itself.

I realise this is a very unusual question but would appreciate any help / advice!

I was thinking along the lines of:

​

- how to make your own monster mask

- creating your own drag persona

- improv

- quick monster look

- vision boarding

​

These are just ideas off the top of my head. I just thought it would be amazing to have someone like Formelda over to talk about how they make their masks and maybe show workshop attendees how to make their own mask. Obviously, I'd want them to perform at the festival too!

I'm touring with Auntie Heroine in November and have been asked by a few people to visit Cardiff. I wondered what the drag scene is like for a Wednesday as that's the only day I could make the event work for.

Just.worried if I did the show on a Wednesday, I wouldn't sell enough tickets to make back the initial costs.

Can we have a challenge every season where Disasterina interviews contestants red-carpet style like S3? Or any excuse to see her on my TV?

Just wondering if the community would be interested in sober drag shows. I realise drag shows generally happen in bars and clubs and wanted to look at alternatives. Maybe community centres and cafes. 🙂

Were there any watch parties in the UK for Season 666?
