Do you bring your resume to in person interviews?
In 2009, I had my first grown up job interview and I didn’t bring a printed copy of my resume. Honestly, I didn’t even think to print a copy. I knew they already had my resume because I applied online. However, the hiring manager was visibly annoyed that I didn’t not bring a copy for her to look at and I definitely did not get that job.
After that, I was always diligent about bringing multiple copies of my resume to interviews.
Next week, I’ll be going to the first in person interview I’ve had since 2019. Are printed resumes still expected in interviews these days or is that like old school?
