Weighted kneeling Ab roller destruction

This ripped my abs to pieces, just this set alone after weeks of rising up the difficulty

I can do standard on the floor and knees for sets of 20+

So added the half ball for extended range and harder still can do 15-20

Can’t do any full on feet reps yet

So had to do this and I don’t regret it, people here always say add a bosu ball and weighted exercises, here’s one lol

320kg / 700lb deadlift max at gym

I haven’t started prep yet, not for 4 more weeks and have just been general strength training and decided today was the day to try 6 red plates a side.

I have only done this weight at comp as a 2nd and 3rd attempt 3 and 4 years ago after peaking for 12 weeks so I’m pretty happy to be able to pull 97% of my peaked max just at the gym cause I thought why not today.

After watching video it seems I’m pretty strong off the floor and slowed down at lockout, which is new, normally it’s the other way around.

I think I had slightly soft knees too, oh well gym PB :)

Strict 70kg x 10 DB rows

I went to another gym the last couple of sessions and they had 70kg dbs so I thought Id give them a crack and they still moved smoothly, there the heaviest dbs I’ve moved in anyway

Romanian deadlift PB 250kg x 5

I’m at the end of a Deload week where I only went to gym 2 times and condensed my usual 4 workouts into 2 combo days with far less sets and exercises and still worked up to a solid heavy enough set on my big 4 movements, I expected this to be harder, was going to do 1-2 and it turned into a smooth 5 reps, maybe minus the first rep as it was a normal deadlift off the floor.

No belt, to encourage less weight and give my insides a pressure break

250kgs / 550lbs x 5 rpe 6-7

I was surprised how smooth this went so had to share it.

Would have gone for 8-10 if it wasn’t a Deload but that would have deleted the whole Deload and I can still start fresher on Sunday. 5 rep PB to please my effort addiction and can still start fresh. win

World Record strict ISO rows

Just came back from being so inflamed from 5 day break from doing weighted box jumps, they fried me so much after sleeping for 5 days straight I thought I better get back at it.

This 7 red plates a side on a hammer strength iso row machine. 175kgs a side for strict reps. A well earned 3 rep PB, video is a bit longer to show I did both sides

Give it to me ;)

+140kg world record 6” box jump

Felt fried and have alot of sore muscles so did this to heal myself quicker ;)

Had to get it, it was very hard to convince my body to actually jump with this on me

Thought I might work up to 180kgs / 400lbs on a smaller box.

Another time

75cm / 30” vert jump?

I did some box jumps recently and claimed them as vert jumps for a bit of fun in here.

I land straight legged so can I call this a 30” vert?

u/Healthy-Mirror4199 — 1 month ago

42” vert jump ;) x 3 warm up

I can’t believe I have a 42” “vert” jump

I do these record jumps before squats and deadlifts as a final pre activation for my lifts after a general warm up, they really help to wake up my body for heavy lifting.

I might even try for a 44-50” vert soon which would be crazy

Any advice for me?

World record deep strict calf raises

Felt like breaking another record and I’m so happy I got it, it only took me as long to put the weight on and think about it to get it

It’s 280kgs on a smith if you call the bar 10kgs

Big deadlift rep PB

Haven’t done this kind of weight for reps for a long long time, and 2 good gym mates were egging me before this top set, it really helped and I didn’t want to look I didn’t try hard enough and 1 of them told me they have done 300 x 3 so in the end hearing that, I set myself must beat and be top

It’s 300kgs / 660lbs x 4 rpe 9ish

5 rep closer grip pause bench PB

I’m happy with the speed the first reps had

It’s 155kgs x 5 paused or sunk in depending on how you see it, either way very happy

A pizza binge the night before definitely helped, so carbed up

High rep PB 230kgs/500lbs x 10

I plan to Deload next week, so that means this week if I can, destroy myself trying to get any PBs to make the Deload even better hopefully.

This was a goal of mine set years ago and got it today, wow might be a face pressure PB as well, far out I’m an ugly lifter lol

u/Healthy-Mirror4199 — 3 months ago

Got told I can’t jump cause I’m too heavy now.

I do box jumps here and then to keep my quick power up and had some one tell me cause I’m old, strong and heavier I’d struggle to do a seated 30” jump, I think I did alright lol

Deadlift rep PB :) 280kg / 616lb

I’ve being doing a single set of a rising single for the last 4 weeks and decided it’s time to do some actual work sets and was aiming to get a hard 3.

A little crowd formed and I felt like I had to perform and show off a little and I pumped out 5 reps with maybe room for another, this changes my day into a great day

It’s 280kg / 616lbs x 5 rpe 8.5/9 with a little ending pause to harvest some more goodness out of it lol

Strict world class 1 arm ISO row

Thought I’d go back to 1 arm iso rows cause they work my twisting muscles as well, these were stricter than usual today

Less neat bear complex at 110kg

I did this yesterday after a neat 100kg bear complex, I thought Id get up to 2 red plates based on nothing lol but just adding 10kgs took this to wrist snapping forearm destroying pain levels that I couldn’t defeat as I wish to keep lifting next week as well.

This is closer to what this sub wants right?

Neat 100kg bear complex

I felt extra fried and was aching so why not jump straight into a movement I haven’t done in years wjth no prep…good news, I did a body weight bear complex of 100kgs probably easier than ever because I’m way stronger now, and tighter and less mobile.

Even better news, my fingers, wrists, forearms, elbows and shoulders are all aching on fire and I had to stop but not before doing a max lol

For anyone not knowing a bear complex.

It’s a power/muscle clean Front squat Push press Back squat Behind the neck push press

With the same held bar

Sleeved squat max PB

For the last 5 years I’ve done wrapped squats in comp and loved the numbers but always hated the extra time and work to use wraps so I’m going to do a sleeved comp this time when I’m ready and this is a PB, which gives me great hope to get 300kg / 660lb at comp

This is 605lb / 275kg x 1

Really Strict reverse curls 80kgs x 10

Only thing I’m sorry for is the odd viewing angle, everything else is strict.

Also a 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3 and 2 rep PB, got to love that 🔥

260kg / 570lb single to start the prep to prep effort PB

I’ve been wearing large sleeves and training with no belt for maybe 12 months, I thought today was the day to see what I can do with belt back on and tighter sleeves

I did this so well it gives me hope to get a sleeved PB soon :)

How does it look to anyone that can judge it however.

This made my day
