Regression

My son who's almosy 5yo has more autistic traits now than he had when he was 2yo. He lines up toys now which he never did before, doesn't want to play with other kids because hs says they dont want to be his friends ( I noticed him today at the playground running away from kids whenever they approached him), he covers his ears when other kids scream around him ( he has never done this before, not with any loud noise). He eats more food now which is a huge positive thing and sleeps a bit better but in other areas like play and socialising, it seems that he has regressed. Is this typical of autistic kids? He's not diagnosed but we suspect level 1. I'm almost 100% he is autistic, his dad is in complete denial hence the lack of diagnosis. Thank you.

Job uri

4.5 yo

Can someone please tell me what is happening at this age? My sweet, chilled kid had turned into a never happy, moody, agressive teenager. He calls me names, he yells, screams, wines, complaints 24/24. He tells us we're bad parents, he says he wants to leave, we're not letting him live his life (like whatttt?), our parents raised us badly! He also says other pretty worrying stuff to me about wanting to harm me but I don't think he fully understands the implications. He literally behaves like a teenager, leaves the room when we correct his behaviour, turns his back on us, slams the door.

Have you also been through similar chalenges with your 4yolds level 1 kiddos? Thxx

Separation

So my partner is the most horrible person I know. I call him my partner because we live in the same house but he's not a partner in any way form or shape. We're coparenting our level 1 son and live under the same roof because we don't want to disrupt our son's life and he's too much of an asshole to leave but we're at the very nest paralel parenting. There's no communication, we can't agree on anything and I mean nothing, not even what colour to paint the walls not to mention anything to do with our son.

Firstly, he in complete denial and refuses to accept our son has autism. He is also autistic. He chooses to blame me for our son stimming, dysregulation, behaviours, restricted diet. Its all because of my poor parenting according to him.

He throws tantrums every time you disagree with him or he doesn't like you contradicting him or calling him out on something. He basically accuses me of "Starting this" ( example. He insults me, I say he's disrespectful and rude and then he accuses me of ruining his day or our day or starting a fight again. What he'd like is for him to insult me and for me to keep my mouth shut. Thats his definition of a good partner I guess). And then he just walks away. What I mean by this is leaving in the middle of the night, leaving and not returning for 3 days (he has an apartment in the city and he goes there) and gives us the silent treatment. If the argument happens in the street, he once just left the baby stroller when our son was baby and left. Another time, he stopped the car, left the key in ignition and walked away and I then drove my self and my son home.

My son copies his behaviour and he has started walking away when I correct his behaviour. Yesterday after my shitty partner did the walking away again after I said something that hirt his fucking ego, my son did the same at dinner. He verbalised too. "I dont like this, I'm gonna sit there now".

He is the worst father to our son for chosing to ignore his struggles that come with autism and tries to parent him and discipline him like he would a NT kid and that's so unfair to our son.

We've been separated before and my son wasnt the happiest those 7 months. I feel like he regressed in some areas but did better in other areas. He had more tantrums and was more agressive towards me. I guess he felt I took his daddy away though at the same time he refused to even talk to his father via phone or video during this time.

He obviously wants us both together but us together is a bad mix. Its also an unhealthy environment for him. I know he loves his father and I want them to have a relationship but I think its time for us to end whatever this arrangement is. The problem is I have family in another city far away and I'd move there like I did last time we separated and I don't know if that won't affect my son more than us staying together.

Its a bit of a rant but I'd appreciate any advice you may have. Thxx

Restful sleep?

Hi all, my 4.5yo son is autistic. He's not diagnosed yet but there's absolutely no doubt he is on the spectrum. He's verbal, high functioning, in kindergarten and does pretty well overall except socially; he wants to interact with kids but he has social anxiety. He has a few friends at kindergarten but he is reluctant to approach kids he doesnt know.

My question is not so much about sleep but more about rest if that makes sense. So he sleeps anywhere between 10 and 11 hours at night. I know, that sounds amazing but he doesnt always wake up rested. Most days he wakes up around 5-5 30am and you can see that he could sleep more because he can barely keep his eyes open but he doesnt want to. The moment he opens his eyes, that's it, he's awake and ready to play. Sometimes his speech is slurred because he is not fully awake but you simply can not make him go back to sleep again or even stay in bed. Now, even though he sleeps a good amount he is tired during the day. Come 8am and he yawns and starts tantruming because he is tired which makes me think that his brain must be working even when he sleeps and therefore he wakes up tired. What other reason could it be for how tired he is during the day? One thing I have noticed is tfat if I can get him to sleep past 6am, he is a completely different child. He can regulate easily, he plays better, he eats better, he interracts better with other kids, he seems almost a neurotypical toddler. Problem is that doesn't happen often, no matter what time he goes to bed. Every time I have tried to change his bed time, we have gone through hell. He gets more tired and overstimulated and he still wakes up around 5.am. These last few days I have pushed back his bed time to 7pm in the hope that he will wake up at 6am but he is still up at 5am just more cranky and dysregulated. I don't know what else to do and I'd be grateful for any suggestions. Thxx

Femeie, 40+

Buna,

Cata incredere au angajatorii din Romania in experienta profesionala câștigată in afara României? Mai ales dacă ești femeie si ai peste 40 de ani.

Caut un job cinstit cu condiții de munca normale dar am impresia că vârsta, sexul si experienta din afara României, imi pun bețe in roate.
