What the hell is this?

I really don’t think we should be allowing this. Religion has already done enough damage to Africa. It’s shouldn’t inconvenience us any further…while we are at it, can we advocate to remove loudspeakers from Mosques and Churches? Why stop there? Do it Kagame style and shut them down for good if their leaders don’t have the qualifications needed to be a pastor or an Imam.

What are we praying for anyway? Health and hospitals? Good infrastructure? Guess fucking what? China systematically destroyed Religions and built all that shit. So did the rest of the developed world. Mnashangaa wakituita low IQ, how do we explain these shenanigans?

I wish we were like our Oromia brothers and sisters.

In my city, there is this festival held once a year, where over 80 cultural groups take part and display their cultures, food and traditions. I attended one a few days ago, and oh my goodness! It was a melting pot. I couldn’t move away from the Oromia pavilion. The traditional dances, the food, the items on display. It was a vibeee.

Just a few feet away was the Somaliland pavilion. No dances, no stage, just background music and approximately 20 people standing around. The Somali pavilion was identical to the Somaliland pavilion. A few people standing around with their huge hijabs and just music being played on a speaker.

I never bothered to do a research on the Oromia people but I came to find out that there are over 40 million of them! They are also very diverse when it comes to religion. Half of them are Christians, the rest are either Muslims, and a sizable percentage of them still believe in Waaqism. Are you kidding me right now?

My limited research also shows that different religions also intermarry, as the shared cultural identity comes first before religion.

Well, I’ll see if the Oromia elders will grant me honorary membership because I am absolutely in love.

Figured I’ll remain undercover atheist

So I’ve come to the conclusion that It’s almost impossible to reason or have a discussion about Islam with majority of our people. Unfortunately, I can’t just cut them off, ya know. They are family and friends. They are all I know, and most of them will go out of their way to help you…but they will also cut you off the moment you declare your stance on religion. Basically, their help is conditional on you being a Muslim.

So my “genius” plan is to just live my life as I see fit, privately, and use their conditional support any chance I get. Just to clarify, I’m financially independent, but sometimes shit happens, and you need someone to turn off the tap you mistakenly left running when you left the house lol

Look at this shit. I just woke up and I’m pissed off already.

Billions stolen every year, people can’t afford basic necessities such as food, school fees. Infrastructure is in shambles, and the man is invoking divine appointment like it’s 1450.

Religion is the most effective corruption shield in this country. You can’t hold God’s chosen accountable..anga that’s blasphemy.

Walai if we don’t wake up and realize that there’s no god for us poor people, we will always suffer fools like this.

Rachel Ruto calls for intercession for June and July amid protests threats

Maybe we should take the protests to their prayer sessions?

Wadau, no prayer has ever worked. None. You think all these developed countries prayed for their roads, trains, and hospitals?

Why do they think we are so stupid to fall for this shit?

Edmonton mother faces removal despite ongoing humanitarian bid and previous reprieval | CBC News

Oya majamaa, si tuache mambo ya kuua wasomali buana? /s

I’m being sarcastic here, but surely, what kind of nonsense is this? And before all mfs come at me with “oh, sijui I’m a Somali hater bla bla,” let me tell you upfront …I’m a Kenyan Somali, and this sh*t pissed me off.

Now back to the issue at hand. This lady travelled to Canada using a Kenyan passport, claimed asylum saying there are extrajudicial killings against Somalis, and decided to have multiple kids before her case was approved. Just think about it for a minute.

Now she is debating whether to leave her kids behind or bring them back to Kenya. I’m not kidding…according to her, that’s how unsafe Kenya is. Tunabebana ujinga nini?

In her mind, she thought she would have those kids so she could collect government benefits, and later rely on public sympathy if her case got thrown out. I know these things because I live among my people. But they don’t know I promised myself that I will expose all the dirty secrets, fraud, and corruption plaguing my community.

Just recently, a Kenyan Somali entrepreneur was denied a visa to go present his inventions at a summit because of bogus asylum cases like this. Our passport is getting weaker because of fraud like this.

Right now, there is a travel agency in Eastleigh selling Kenyan passports to Somalis so they can gain entry into Canada for the World Cup and later claim asylum.

My family is originally from Northern Kenya, so I do come across a few posts here and there on fb and x. Just this evening as I was scrolling, this pops up on my feed ( pics).

Take a hard look at how these folks elect (select) their leaders. They are jam packed in a room that is certainly not air conditioned, wanapewa chai yao for the day, and that’s it. No manifesto, no development plans, nada. If the guy has competitors, he buys them out and they drop off the race.

He goes to parliament, steals as much as he can, erect a few buildings in Nairobi, and he will do it again in 5 years. Within those 5 years, they will face severe drought, and cry for help. As you can see in the picture, they already appear malnourished. These people will have an army of kids who will follow their footsteps.

Ni hayo tu kwa sasa. When drought comes, I hope we all remember to remind them of their choices, because I don’t see any point in saving these folks. Wacha punda akufe.
