where does fees for ex-employer get deducted?

I have a 401k from my employer and I have also enrolled into brokerageLink....now when I leave my employer, they let me keep the 401k with some fees, around 25$ per year or something like that.

Where does the money get deducted from? from the main 401k account or from the brokeragelink account? because most of my investment is in brokeragelink, do I need to move some cash back to main 401k account if deduction will happen from there?

International wire for 1st time

Hi all. I am planning to wire money from my usd account to another country bank account.

I see that we can do online wire and the bank account as well as schwab brokerage account has my name.

Is there something i need to be careful about? Like do i get a call from schwab verifying it was indeed me doing the wire, or any kind of hassle as such?

Thanks

How is real estate market

I am looking to get residency by investing in some property. I am really really shocked to see people asking for 1.6, 1.7 million aed and above for properties which are barely 500-600 sqft. They even fit 2 bedrooms in that area. Honestly just shocking real estate inflation. And when it comes to rent, they are asking 115-120k annually for a 2 bedroom, this is almost similar to USA rent, and lets be honest dubai aint making USA level money to justify this, source myself

So i am genuinely interested to know whether this is just the market in dubai is and i should level up my expectations properly or this is people who are looking to milk some more money from outsiders and i should avoid this?

Thanks, my post is not a sarcasm nor a shot at anyone.

I got an email to reconnect my linked account to keep balances up to date, track net worth etc etc...but when I log in, I still am able to check the box to transfer my money to my bank account.

If this reconnect is just view balance in bank account, I don't care, but is this update going to affect actual movement of money?

For USA. I am employed from 2018 and in the express entry profile I added this experience to claim points for foreign work. Now it doesn't matter if you are employed for 3 years, 5 years or 10 years since all give same points.

In my case, I can get a reference letter which says I am employed since 2018 and currently being paid XX annually. But I don't have bank statements or paystubs from 2018 and 2019 since I closed my initial bank account as well as my company don't keep records for more than 5 years. However I do have IRS wage transcript showing I got paid for 2018 and 2019 as well as I have 401k contributions from my employer during that time.

Should I just update my work history section to start with 2022 let's say and add the remaining experience in personal history section? Asking because my employment letter will regardless say I am employed since 2018
