I've been friends with a girl for years, I recently developed romantic feelings for her and told my friends, my friends went and told other people and it got around the whole school, eventually one of her(the girl i like) friends messaged me and said she called me weird and she wants to stay as far away from me as possible(I saw the messages of her saying it so its not a lie). So in light of that i decided to stay away from her. We go on the same school bus so i just started sitting away from her and started avoiding her in class when I can however she kept trying to talk to me and touch me and when I told her to leave me alone and stop touching me because of what she said she started getting angry and defensive saying those texts where she called me weird were taken out of context and now shes talking a bunch of shit about me. AITAH cause her friends say I am.
