Based on my pictures what would my style/niche of photography be considered?
I'm not familiar with what photographers are known for/as within their communities. Ie) portrait, wedding, landscape.
Like, I get those are categories of photography but people take pictures of landscapes in different ways, y'know?
Anyway, these are a few of my personal favourites (some I've shared here before) and I'm wondering what my photography style would be called? If that's a thing. Like if there's something specific about what I choose to capture or how I capture it?
Right now I'm just randomly walking around places and very much just pointing and shooting when something catches my eye with no real thoughts other than getting the camera to focus on what I'm seeing
I barely use any settings on my t5 and for the most part I just shoot in the auto flash off mode unless something is particularly tricky to focus on. After that, I play with them on an editor on my phone. Save and move on.
Occasionally I post my pictures in random places, sometimes I frame and gift them.
What am I missing? What could I be doing differently or trying?
For example, I plan on going out to mess around with lights and longer exposures at night to see what I can get. I think this will force me to play around with more of my camera settings and seeing what I can get with each lens.
I'm currently using a canon t5 w/ sigma 105mm DG macro, efs 18-55mm image stabilizer and Sigma 70-300mm if that matters.
Anyway, it's been fun seeing everyone's pictures. They're awesome and inspiring. Keep it up, people.
