Title. Texas is 40 EVs currently and PA and MI combined are 34 EVs currently.

It’s looking possible for Peltola to win senate in Alaska, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they managed to flip the governors seat in a RCV upset. They also only have to flip a few state senate seats to get a majority. It’s possible after January 20th 2027 Alaska could end up with a split US Senate delegation, a Democratic governor, and a Democratic state senate. Hopefully this could lead to Alaska becoming a swing state and expanding Senate opportunities.

If Ossof is able to win to by a large enough Margin in Georgia, his coattails could be bad for the Georgia GOP. Georgia has been trending left for years and if Dems can manage to turn Georgia into a lean blue state, they would get an extra 16 EVs in presidential elections. We’ve seen some special elections recently for state legislative seats with Dems pulling massive upsets. If we end up with a Georgia with 2 Dem senators, a Democratic governor, and a Dem flipped or republican reduced state legislature ( break the super majority) this could be crucial for 2030 redistricting.
