We did this puzzle at a beach house this weekend and I loved it. It had what I would describe as a very high piece-to-place ratio, where I could roughly tell where every piece went if I looked at the picture.

Almost all of the pieces were the same classic shape. The puzzle got completed by the picture, not by the shape.

I got up early on Sunday to finish it by myself, let everyone look at it, and then got up early again this morning to take it apart so the kids could put it together after we left. I shuffled the pieces pretty well, but left the edges in their own area.
