It really annoys me how everyone is treating Wardogs as if it brings a new idea to the table when it's almost the same as Arma KOTH.

Im not saying that the developers of Wardogs weren't transparent about where they got the idea from(I have no idea tbh). But the community treats it as if it's a new revolutionary idea when it's really not. So many games have sprouted from the Arma universe; pubg, dayz and now this. For the first two games, I think the connection is pretty apparent, but I feel like Arma isnt appreciated for all the gamemodes that the community has come up with.

I have seen some wild comments about whether KOTH will be able to keep servers populated since it needs 100 people and Im like.... Koth servers are the MOST populated in arma3, if it's done correctly, it will have no problems.

It all comes down to who came up with the idea first and I know it's not important at all, but at the same time, it rubs me the wrong way.

I think Im the MIY (theory in post)

People have been correctly theorizing that maybe Acosta or Tabitha or Ellis or Ethan or Victor or Henry or Tillie or Donna or the bartender or the pastor or Boyd or Jim or Randall or Fatima is the MIY and honestly, it makes 100% sense, because they are all very sus.

However, after some self reflection, I came to the realization that I am the MIY.
Think about it. I have a deep hatred for Fatima. Guess who else does? MIY . I hate Tabitha. Well, you cant imagine it, but MIY ALSO hates Tabitha. I liked Jim, I really did. I would love to talk to him once. Guess who else liked Jim. Would I kill Jim? No, I wouldnt, but you know how these things are, my hand could have slipped. An honest accident. Well, guess whose hand has also slipped.

Now, I dont have all the pieces of the puzzle connected, so I need some help from you guys. Does my theory stand? What do you think?

Chesscom is outrageously slow on Firefox

My computer can run all the latest games at ultra settings, and yet what makes it lag is chess com. It’s laughable. It used to be way better than the slog it is right now.

Guys, do you still have sound issues? Silent footsteps etc? What about hitreg?

I never quite had that problem (or at least noticed it ), however yesterday, I had a very blatant case. I was holding an angle and for a brief moment, all explosions had stopped. I was pretty sure that there was nobody coming, because I couldnt hear anybody. A second after that thought occured to me, a guy sprinted by my side and blasted my face.

So, is this something that is rare for you? Do you notice it at all?

What about hitreg? I see a lot of whining in the main sub, so I turned the event graph on to see if the client hits register and 99.9% of them do, it's super rare for them not to. My ping is usually 30-50ms so maybe thats why. But on the other hand, I see so many people complaining, on reddit or in game that there must be something going on.

Tell me your thoughts

How come Battlefield 1 is the best performing battlefield, yet the main sub has a hateboner for it?

I bought battlefield 1 and V last year, and those two games were my first bf games ever. In general, I'm a big fan of hardcore milsim games (Arma being the best at that imo). However, last year, since both bf games were dirt cheap, I decided to give them a go. Having no bias or anything like that, I feel like bf1 is the superior game out of those two. I can't speak about bf3 or bf4, since I haven't tried them at all, but I can say with full confidence that bf1 is the best bf game (I have bought bf6 and I like it a lot). Obviously, it's not a perfect game, and it has some issues, but the quality of it outweighs all the negatives imo. Now, if this were just my personal opinion, I would leave it at that. But this seems to be the mainstream opinion. A 10 year old game is beating both V and 2042 by quite a big margin.

However, the main battlefield sub doesn't reflect that at all. Whenever I speak positively about bf1, I get a lot of downvotes. Every time bf1 is brought up, the immediate argument is "uhh, bfv is better." They also repeat the same word that truly annoys me: the word "gunplay." Idk which youtuber started it, but it has become a buzzword that everybody repeats.

What gives?
