First time ever offering the girls oranges.. Ersa tried 3 times with a whole cutie and spit it out all 3 times, even after she had a juice explosion on the 3rd time she still spit it out 🤣 I came back later to offer her a peeled cutie and she LOVED it and ate the whole thing (will post that video later)

Bianca wasn't a fan at first but once it was opened so she could see the juicy inside she wanted it! She also bit my fingers taking it from me, but it was totally my fault for not offering it flat-handed (the proper way) but don't worry, I'm fine.. I'll post a pic in the comments to show y'all just how fine I am lol but it DID hurt..

Ezman was drooling over the cuties, I think he might like them but I couldn't offer him any as I don't have permission to do so.. it was SO hard to ignore his cute little drooly begging face, so I did let him lick some juice off my hand at least..

Then I got a compressed alfalfa cube and put it in the water to share amongst the herd.. that's what u see them slurping on at the end..

And just in case anybody was worried about the water situation yesterday while I was busy with Nova, please know that I called bf to delegate that problem to his coworker/friend so the herd had water! Bf finally got home around 10pm last night and I made sure to refill the trough (which was half full) for the night before heading back to my house.

Then today he fixed it so it's no longer a problem! He also scattered 2 bales of alfalfa like a buffet 🤣

Horse politics are so silly, I'll post about that later after my phone is charged

Started off the morning with some goodbye walks (with Brix & Rave), then drove 1.5 hrs to her new home. Intros with sis&BIL went great!

Then we introduced her to Sadie and that was a success as well! Now both girls are chilling at the apt with BIL while sis and I have some pool time..

the good part about that is BIL is basically ignoring both of them while supervising.. Nova is slightly resource guard-y about me, and Sadie is resource guard-y over my sis.. but we had one tiny growl from Sadie and everything else went perfectly

After Jeremy said he wasn't in the right place to accept a new dog, I asked my sisters thinking it would be a long shot.. one of them immediately said "oh my friend's aunt has 2 of that breed and has been looking for a 3rd"

But I think my sis has fallen for Nova because then she said "maybe we will just keep the aunt as a back up plan, as long as she gets along with my current dog".. so that's happening in the morning. And the aunt will be plan B just in case.

For tonight sweet Nova is passed out on the hallway floor at my apt. She had a long busy day. She got a bath (which she hates) and as her current owner was helping load her things into my car, she jumped in! I stopped back by the horses to fill their water to the brim and she got out but didn't go more than 5 ft from me and kept her eyes on me the whole time.

We stopped by tractor supply for a new leash and that freaked her out, like she thought I was gonna leave her or something, but she was a brave girl and made it back to the car with her pretty pink new leash!

Then I did one on one intros with my dogs at the dog park in my complex.. first Brix who was WAYYYY too excited and Nova got scared. He just wanted to play but she wasn't ready.. so we did parallel walks starting with one outside of the fence and then switching off.

Rave did great once she got inside the fence, but with the fence between them she was barky cuz she has a bit of barrier aggression. Overall they ALL did AMAZING together!

Then I took Nova with me to go pick up dinner from a food truck and she did AMAZING there as well 💕

Is that there's no water in there 🤬 somebody keeps turning it off at the main water connection.. because there's a leak/issue with the float valve.. it's been off every day I've come over since Thursday and it's pissed me off every single time.. when bf gets home(tomorrow) he's fixing the issue..

The whole herd is obviously in protest over it as u can see by how far they moved the trough

I went to visit the girls today and my timing wasn't great since they were delivering dinner as I pulled up. which means all 4 of the herd basically ignored me so they could eat.. but then Ersa finished and was ready for some attention! Just a short &sweet video of my silly girl

UPDATE: Jeremy said no, he wasn't ready. And that's ok.. BECAUSE I FOUND HER A NEW HOME!

I don't know the people, but it's my sister's friend's aunt and she already has 2 great Pyrenees dogs and has been wanting a 3rd! Its only 1.5 hrs from me.. I'm so relieved! I figured y'all would be happy to know the outcome as well! 💕

When I got to the ranch today, I put out another load of fly predators.. Then I kept finding problem after problem. First the water trough was only half full and the water had been turned off, but I got it turned back on once bf told me where the water connected.

Then I found tiny little tomato looking things that turned out to be horse nettle and tried to pull them out.. but they have stickers on the vine so i had to find something to act as my glove to pull them out! The fly predator bag was perfect for that. I was able to remove all of them pretty easily.

Then all 4 members of the herd let me know they were hungry, so I fed them.(I checked camera footage and dinner was not delivered 🙄)

Then I noticed the pile of hay looked wrong, like black on one side.. upon further inspection, it's moldy but I didn't have the tools I needed to move it so I'm going back tomorrow, hopefully well prepared.. it's a lot of hay 🙃

but it's been there for literally months so I'm not surprised it's bad now. Ersa seems to know it's bad cuz all she wanted to do was pee right beside it, but I saw Ezman nibbling at it before she did that 🫣

But the girls all loved their leaf snacks 🤭

For this post.. is anybody who's more experienced in cats worried about the little baby's eye?

It looks like something happened to her eye cuz she's squinting it.. but I didn't see any pus or blood.. I'll keep an eye on her but catching her might be hard! Since her other siblings got caught but she didn't.. I'll get the guys to put the trap back out for her if we're concerned, but otherwise just keep an eye on it. Please let me know what y'all (the cat people) think 🙂

I took mine out for grass 🤭 Ersa loved it! Bianca just wanted some more one on one attention 🥰 and Nova totally made a jail break just to come hang with me! 🥰 I checked the doors of her yard after this video and they were shut tight! They just didn't move the stairs far enough from the porch to keep an athletic baby in the fence 🤣

Edith always gives me a boop! And now Sombra is giving me boops too! And she was a lot more accepting of booty scritches yesterday! Normally as soon as I start touching her, she stops eating and will run away unless I move..

Edith did such a cute little hiss at me, I think she was just sticking up for Sombra tho 🤭 one day soon, maybe the 2 kittens will boop me as well 💕 I didn't see the kitten I rescued at all yesterday, I'm pretty sure she's in hiding but I'll keep looking! 🙂

I haven't worked with Ersa on the "hug" trick since that one video I posted forever ago, but I think it stuck 🥰

Brix and Rave are my dogs at home.. they are both around 10yrs old and super sleepy heads so most of my videos of them are of them sleeping and snoring 😴😴😴

and I don't want to bore y'all so I don't post them frequently.. but I do love on and spoil them just as much as Ersa, Bianca, and Nova!

Also fun fact: Rave has been her name since 2015.. but apparently it's confusing for Spanish speakers(my bf) so we started calling her Ravioli - one of her nicknames - because that's much easier for him to say! She absolutely adores him so it was an easy decision 🥰

Nicola is in desperate need of a hair brushing but idk how to tackle fairy knots.. do ppl usually just cut them out? Also I don't think shes quite there yet on comfort level with me handling her, so I'm trying to respect that. She's finally letting me approach and touch her without moving away from me 💕 it also helps that Ersa isn't trying to run her away from me either like she did at first

So y'all see the gray kitten that's just laying there in my video yesterday? Today when I went to check on them (like I always do when I visit the girls E&B) I noticed it was STILL laying in the EXACT SAME SPOT as yesterday and my spidey senses started tingling..

I thought 🤔 I should approach it and see if it moves, but if it doesn't I need to check on it and see.. so I approached, and the bigger tortie kitty ran away, but the tiny gray kitty did NOT.. uh oh 🫣

I get close and it starts low-key panicking like it wanted to run or scratch me but it wasn't able to.. I calmly and gently felt around its neck and the black fishing net I thought it was laying on? NOPE. It was stuck in it!!

As I was feeling the tension of the net around its neck I almost thought I would need to go find a knife to cut it off, or somehow turn the kitten so the net would untwist and loosen.. but I was able to gently slide one ear out of the loop, and then the other.. thank goodness! I didn't want to have to traumatize the baby even more than it already was!

then I picked it up and held it to my chest as I checked over it to make sure there was nothing else before setting it back down.. it immediately ran away, of course! cuz humans, even the nice ones, are SCARY!

I'm so glad I stopped to check on them today and was able to help free it from the net! I wish I had noticed yesterday, but at least I caught it before something bad happened. 💕

Ersa was the thirstiest girl in the world today! She drank even longer than u see in the video 🤣

And of course bestie Bianca was right there drinking with her 🥰
