There’s very little chance you get to activate the move’s double power, right?

Cos without being able to use something like Rock Slide the previous turn, you rarely will be able to get the bonus?

So it’s just there if you don’t wanna use Earthquake?

What teams or strategies do you feel are trending down in doubles?

Been in Master Ball for a bunch of weeks now, and here’s what I’ve noticed now that Regulation M-A is almost done:

1. Archaludon: With its popularity, many have figured out counterplay for Archaludon. Focus on Sableye. Sunny Day and they’ll be left hanging with an Electro Shot you can Protect. After you take care of its enablers, then you bring out the big guns to take the bridge down.

2. Mega Floette: Still one of the best megas. And I believe it’ll stay that way. I’m sure it’ll have a resurgence sooner rather than later. But with it being a glass cannon, bulkier options like Sylveon have taken over as of late.

3. Trick Room: TR teams will perhaps never not be relevant in the meta. But with the prevalence of bulkier and slower mons like the aforementioned Sylveon in non-TR teams, such teams have a much easier time dealing with trick room. Aside from the fact that many players recognize the patterns bu now and know how to stall properly.

Which teams and strategies do you also see trending UP?

Simply Master Ball?

Made it to Master Doubles after a few days of playing, and now trying to optimize my team. Been hovering between Tiers 3 and 4.

I’m trying to climb perhaps just to Tier 2, but it being the top 10k players seems like a tall task. Still, I’d like to try and go for it.
