Perhaps the only good news today

The first time I’ve ever given a celebrity a gift and they ripped it up in their hotel room, bald and alone.

What are the places folk tend to meet up for this around Sunnyvale? And what style as well?

I have a NYT Subscription still, baby.

It was a little house finch that was up by the sliding doors. It was the first one in our yard I’ve seen in the years we’ve been bird feeding, with at least dozens of finches every day.

I feel slightly guilty wondering if I didn’t do a good enough job with all the shiny reflective stickers we got for the doors, after noticing a few birdies tried to fly through it and get shocked.

I wonder if this time they slammed it to hard. Or they just were sick anyway.

I know animals in the wild have to die at some point. I just want to do my best to not make it happen sooner than naturally.

We have, way too many plushies, as all middle aged queer women couples do, I suppose. And we are wanting to make a lot of room, for even more.

Is there anywhere we could donate these to, other than just pure recycling? Quite a lot of these are practically unused, just sitting in bins or containers.

I completely get why most places wouldn’t want anything not new, you don’t know where it’s been or what’s been on it.

But I thought I’d at least ask the Reddits until I sadly take the dozens of smiling happy faces into the great pit of fabric recycling at our local center. Their unfaltering, smiling gaze will haunt me for years.

I love how the Front Office is now hiding and not wanting to even talk about it. Surely this will blow over and is the perfect PR move if you just ignore it.
