Nesting Prime Objective

From my understanding, one of the objectives for Prime is laying eggs and then having to raise the baby dinosaur to 50%.

The 50% requirement seems way too high.

I am 50% on my Dilo, which is the minimum requirement to lay eggs. If I lay eggs now, im cutting it close on getting the babies to 50% before I hit 75%.

Shouldn’t it just be a 25% requirement? Raising them to the point that they are able to hunt and eat on their own?

Or maybe even just laying eggs should be the objective, especially if they intend on adding a Dino whose entire focus is poaching eggs. No requirement would encourage much more players to lay eggs.

As a separate question, if a male and female mate and lay eggs and do the 50% requirement, does the male also get the Prime Objective, or only the Female?

Is Allosaurus bad?

I haven’t been very successful with it but it feels very weak compared to other carnivores without a ton of upside.

Like, I have trouble killing even pigs with it.

I’ve only got it to 50% once and died by a croc while drinking water.

I don’t really know what I’m doing but this was fun.

Aren’t Stegos tail whip really powerful? How grown do you think that stego is?

Nesting on official servers?

I seem to be having some issues with pairing.

Me and my wife got to 75% on raptors and held down N while looking at eachother and nothing happened, no animation, no pairing.

We tried for like 10 minutes.

Then randomly it just worked.

What am I missing?

Are we doing it wrong? Do you have to be nearly on top of eachother facing eachother?

About how much game do I have left?

Is this quest the last boss? I thought there was a whole other area past the mountains? I also thought you eventually unlock water powered machines.

So, I already went through and beat Hollow Halls. It gave me a quest to do it again though.

What is the purpose of this? Does the dungeon get harder?

This is the first game of the genre where I actually felt like there was a real purpose to spending time making a nice and large base.

It’s the first time where I felt like I need to build even larger for practical reasons due to the NPCs and bed system.

I’ve never felt like I was running out of space with even a medium size build in other games. It was just more so for fun and decoration.

Decorating feels good because of the comfort system.

One thing I would like to see added is a practical reason to use a lot of different material block pieces. Give me a gameplay reason to go the extra mile and make a build look really nice.

I know there isn’t a practical reason for secret passage ways, but it’s cool af that I can create them

lol.

Got them game a couple days ago and I’m having a blast.
