Post bariatric surgery hypoglycemia

Has anyone experienced this? I had surgery in 2022. For the last two years, I wake up every morning with what feels like very strong cortisol spikes and an anxious/panicky feeling. Not even klonopin touches the morning anxiety. I also seem to wake up every morning around 3-4 am. My labs are all pretty normal and same with my thyroid levels. My dr. wants me to do overnight continuous glucose monitoring to see if my blood sugar drops throughout the night, which could be the cause of this. I only get late dumping through the day if I eat too too much sugar. I don’t have diabetes and have been on zepbound since January. Thanks.

Retrying 5 mg

Not looking for medical advice, just anecdotal experiences. Anyone go up a higher dose, not tolerate it well, go back down, then retry the higher dose a few weeks later and have an easier time? I was on 2.5 for three months, lost well, but went up to 5 mg for increased food noise. I took 5 for three weeks, but even w spacing it ten days apart (with my drs ok), I still couldn’t eat enough and was having some side effects. Went back down to 2.5 mg for five weeks and the first couple weeks were good, but then barely lost and had even more significant food noise. Dr had me go back up to 5 and took it last night. I’m a bit nervous because I want to be able to eat enough. I had gastric bypass a few years ago so I am more sensitive to these meds. It took me a few weeks on 2.5 the first time to feel like I could eat enough. Anyone else? Thanks!

Withdrawal and heartburn

I know this has been posted about before, but it’s been awhile. I’m on day 5 of sobriety and experiencing bad heartburn. It’s giving me anxiety because I had a surgery a few years ago to cure my reflux. I started zepbound for weight loss a few months ago and have been having some more reflux due to slow digestion, but it’s been significantly worse since I stopped using. Anyone else experience this?
