A few years ago, my ex threw away my baby blanket after his dog peed on it and he didn’t want to wash it. He didn’t end up telling me that until I had been looking for it for weeks.

I have been thinking about this blanket every day for the past three years. It is butter yellow felt - ish feeling fabric, with blue stars and moons, and puppies sleeping on clouds. I also attached a picture of it. I know it’s not a great picture, but it’s the only one I have.

I have Google image searched for it and searched eBay and Etsy.

If anyone happens to ever remember seeing this fabric in the early 2000s please let me know where! It might be a shot in the dark, but I would really love to find it and replicate my baby blanket.

I think it was most likely from Joann’s bc that was our local fabric shop.

Or, if anyone knows of a place that I could get custom designed fabric, that would also be great.

I got two kittens 3 days ago. Both of them were using the litter box at their previous home we got them from (my uncles house) and so I thought it would be an easy transition.

We got a stainless steal litter box and arm and hammer dust free litter. Our boy kitty immediately started using the litter box and has had no accidents. I have not seen our girl kitty use it at all. I was scared that maybe it was too tall for her at first, but she is a week older and a lot bigger than our boy kitten that has no problems with.

I was also scared that she has a UTI, but she also hasn’t shown any signs of discomfort while peeing. She does however start running around and meowing like she is confused and trying to find a place right before she pees. But she doesn’t wince or meow while she is going. She also has been pooping on the carpet. Any time I have put her in the litter box (after meals or naps) she just jumps right out.

Today I got a second litter box and the same litter and they were using at their first home, hoping she would like that better. We set it up and I showed her where it was, and she showed more interest in it than the other one, which I thought was good. She had an accident right afterwards though.

I’m worried that maybe she does have a uti? Is she just stressed and it will take a bit longer for her to adjust? I have a vet appointment in a week (the first appointment I could get) and I have thought about maybe taking her in for an emergency appointment but I also don’t know if I am jumping the gun and just have to be more patient. Also, I should add that the boy kitten is much more outgoing and adjusted a lot faster than she did. She has warmed up to me pretty fast, but is still a bit more skittish when it comes to big movements or sounds. She is still warming up to my partner that I live with.

What should I do in this situation? I don’t want her to wait around a week in pain, if that’s what it is, but I also don’t want to make a big deal out of it if sometimes it’s normal for kittens to take a second to litter train in a new home. I would love your advice on how to litter train her faster. 🙏
