first week of day trading- my trades so far started with 1000£ starting amount - up by 25%.

context- i am learning to day trade and this is day 9 or 10. still tightening my methodology. still building confidence. the progress is small but its there. now on to collecting more data to make sure i have the right idea. currently struggling with finding the right balance between having some rigid ground rules while also ensuring i can make decisions in the fly.

take away- this is alot of hard work and a complete 360 from my regular investment strategy. i feel its a good thing its hard because otherwise i wouldn’t believe it could actually be a learnable skill and not just a few streaks of luck.

KEEL - opinions of the delulu

i have researched this stock - i am planning on an entry this week with a medium term DCA strategy. Its a borderline gamble i’ll be honest. but i wanted to see other people’s opinion, those of us who are bullish on it.

actually i would welcome bearish opinions too! give me a brutal reality check brothers and sisters

tried day trading for the first time on the most bullish day possible - give me a reality check please

saw the news about QUCY yesterday and turned 1200 pounds into 2500 (realised) - 317 shares still at play.

in my mind i had a great thesis and it executed flawlessly. i kept taking profits programmatically.

i was just trying it out for the first time and now i am worried about that this was just beginner’s luck.

first bought at 0.5$ (400 pounds total) then at 1.4ish$ (800). then kept selling, parts, 1.7$, 2.4$, 3.1$. usually i take notes but it was moving so fast i don’t have the exact details. was struggling to add stop limits with every new support level.

be brutal everyone. don’t let me fall in the trap of overconfidence.

i have a daily methodology that i am developing right now which i will share in an update.

update: thank you all for your feedback! i took the profits and put most of it in my (relatively) safe portfolio. used the 1000 to pick another play and have humbly exited the market at 863 pounds. will try again tomorrow!

my current split after starting from scratch- 0 to 1 million journey

all of these are high risk (some bordering on gambling) and this is not financial advice. do your own research please. yolo i guess.

my salary is 4.5k roughly with no debt in the UK. Just lost 80k (99%) of my portfolio to a family emergency right before i was about to hit my 100k milestone.

now i am starting from scratch. and this time i am racing to a million. lets see where this goes.
