i’m 18, been gambling since around 15/16 as i can remember. i never thought much of it, i would deposit and deposit and keep doing it. recently i sold my ps5 to gamble and lost all of it. thats how i knew i had a problem. i layed down last night and calculated all my deposits to sports betting app and it came out to 10k. i never knew it was that bad, i thought at max 3-4k. now im sitting here, 0 dollars to my name and college upcoming , no car, sold my ps5, thinking about how it got this bad. and i swear ill never touch gambling again. any tips from people who have actually quit?
I seriously need help.
I sold my old phone, and I forgot that I was still logged into my Chime account on it. Whoever bought it got into my account and spent $1,400 on an app.
I’ve disputed these transactions 10 different times. I’ve submitted:
A police report
Emails from the merchant
Every document Chime has asked for
I’ve never received temporary credit, and every single dispute gets closed within one day with almost no explanation. Customer service has been no help whatsoever.
At this point, I don’t know what else to do. Has anyone dealt with something like this? Is there another agency or regulator I should file a complaint with, or is there any way to get Chime to actually investigate?
I’m honestly beyond frustrated. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
