Books about the Camino?

I'm planning on doing the Camino myself in a year or so and am reading up on the experiences. This subreddit has helped a lot and I have just finished reading the diary "I'm off then" by Hape Kerkeling.

I like how he is not idyllic about the experience and seems to describe everything truthfully, both the good and bad things. The book is i feel a realistic representation of walking the Camino.

Are there any books like it out there?

Similar artists to Crumb?

I've recently discovered Crum and I have read almost everything he's done. I also watched the documentary.

Are there any similar artists with the same vibe, gritty style, adult themes etc? Would love to dive deeper.

Any anthology series that are still active?

Some years ago I discovered underground anthology series and I feel like I have read most of the classic series. Which got me wondering. Are there any still active today that put out decent stuff?
