How would you soften or hide a TV in this corner when it’s not in use?

I’ve kept this wall mostly empty until now because we used a projector for movies, but that setup is no longer possible and a TV will be placed here instead. I marked roughly where it would go in the photo.

We don’t watch TV very often, so I’d like the room not to be visually centered around a dark screen when it’s turned off. The rest of the space is quite simple.

Do you have any tasteful ideas for covering, softening or visually hiding a TV in a corner like this? Something that would feel natural rather than awkward.

Thanks for any ideas, especially solutions that still feel warm and lived-in rather than too sleek or modern.

After three endless, exhausting weeks from hell, he finally arrived. Gentle, refreshing... rain.

My first analog friend and some shots from our first date out.

I found this little camera (Smena 8M) at a flea market. I didn't know anything about analog photography but it took it anyway; the first roll of film was blurry and wildly underexposed... The second attempt was better—see the photo in the post. But most of the shots were ruined by unexpected double or triple exposures... Still, I’m grateful to this friend because he introduced me to 35mm film, which I love. I like that I only have a limited number of attempts... it’s good for me as an amateur - begginer... It forces me to think about what I’m doing and not just snap away frantically and pick out the best shots, like I use to do with my phone... And then I love the anticipation of seeing how it turned out... whether I managed to focus correctly or got the lighting right...

Summer storm passing in the distance...

Any idea how far away that lightning bolt is? I'm terrible at math. 😄
