Is the Xbox series s worth it in 2026?
I'm currently playing on a PS4 and also have a pc. But I want something that's small ,is made for 1080p gaming,and has zero lag/stutters. The Xbox series s seems perfect for this except that I'm really paranoid on how gta 6 will run on it and also how much storage it will take. On my used local market the series s 512gb is about 200 dollars and the 1tb version is more so 300 dollars. But for just a little bit more (150-200$) you could get a series x or PS5. And I don't really know what console to get. The games I mainly play are GTA online,Fortnite,Rocket League,Minecraft,skate. The thing that I'm a lil paranoid (2x) is GTA online's performance from the tests that I have seen the series s drops to 48 ish fps when lots of explosions happen and that is quite worrying for me because I mostly like to do races in gta online and in 30 player races even on the PS5 performance rt I still felt a little dip when checking the player tab when hitting the down d-pad and I'm worried it's going to be even worse on the series s and not be a smooth experience. As a side note,the PS5 I played on was not mine I got to play on it because of a kid who has that console and is the kid of one of my mom's friend.
