Looking for recs: Queer young adult book(s) about witches with female protagonist(s).

Hey guys! Been thinking about posting here for a while looking for recs and finally built up the courage!

Unfortunately, I’m not a skilled reader. I don’t know if it’s because I’m just a bit slow, or because of my untreated (working on it) adhd, but I can only finish young adult novels. Even though I’m 35. Idk. I tried reading “A Day of Fallen Night” and was really enjoying the story but I haven’t been able to finish it and it’s been years. Once I accepted my limitations and stuck to young adult fiction I’ve been able to rediscover my love of reading and have been enjoying myself a lot.

So, like the title says, I was wondering if anyone here has any recommendations for queer YA fiction about witches, with a female protagonist.

For example, I’ve really been enjoying the “Hedgewitch” series, but it’s not GAY ENOUGH

I’m not after steamy stories, but if there are steamy scenes idc (as long as the characters aren’t too young because that would make me feel creepy af cuz I’m OLD YA’LL)

The stories don’t have to be ABOUT young people, I just need it written for young people because of my infuriatingly-slow/yet-sometimes-too-fast/easily-distracted/unable-to-maintain-concentration brain.

I think I’ve started to repeat myself so I’ll leave it there. If you read this far thank you very much!

I've experienced the "laptop turning itself off" crash before, but in the past I was able to fix the issue by buying a laptop cooling tray and clearing space off my hard-drive. This is the first time those two methods haven't worked. I have 149GB free on my hard-drive, and I always play using my laptop cooling tray, with the fans set to max speed.

This time, I was building in a medium empty lot in Del Sol Valley. About five minutes after I started building, my laptop turned itself off.

Here is a list of things I've tried so far:

  • Building on a small lot instead of a medium one
  • Updating my game
  • Updating my mods
  • Removing my mods and cc
  • Playing in a new save
  • Repairing my game
  • Moving my "Sims 4" folder to the desktop, forcing my PC to create a new folder on game launch, and testing using this clean version of the game (without my saves, tray, mods, etc).

The issue persisted even after trying each of these things. When trying the last one, I was hopeful: I was able to make a sim from scratch and move them in (which took me about forty minutes). After I moved them in I went to manage worlds, and navigated to the lot in Del Sol Valley that I wanted to build on. I bulldozed the house on the lot, and my laptop turned itself off.

I've been googling the issue, but other than the things I've already tried I haven't found a solution. I've also posted on the EA forums, but no replies yet.

Does anyone have any advice? Thank you for your time ❤️

playing with chemials is fun

Since I apparently can't play the sims 4 for more than five minutes without my whole laptop shutting down I've jumped back into the sims 2.

This is Adaline Pursuit. She's all about the pursuit of knowledge (see what I did there?) both natural and supernatural. Ergo, she has the knowledge aspiration. She's just reached the top of the science career, and she's also a (neutral) witch. Her main hobbies are science, art and nature. She's not interested in having a family (at least, not yet ... maybe never, idk), but enjoys hanging out with her neighbours in strangeville and is very attracted to women with high logic skill. She's a slob, she's very kind, and all of her other personality traits are kind of in the middle.

So ... what would you give her for her second aspiration?
