Do you feel like the school targets your kid?

Is anyone else experiencing what feels like hyper-focus or targeting from school staff regarding your ADHD student. Sometimes it does feel like my child is consistently singled out or punished for incidents where multiple kids were involved, while the other students don't seem to face the same consequences ( lunch detentions, no recess)

Also, how would you handle a teacher asking out loud front of other students if your child has taken their medication? It definitely feels like it violates their privacy. Has anyone dealt with this, and how did you handle it.

Dr Pepper & His set up

I always loved having betta fish. We finally took my two kids 5 & 10 to a fish store and purchased their first betta. It’s been at least 30 years since I owned one. The internet gate keeping has me going crazy.

There was like different kinds of selections. Basic, premium and deluxe. I felt like I was choosing a meal. . We went with premium whatever that means.

I don’t remember
- how long until I can transfer? I’ve been running his filter for 12 hours. And his container water feels the same.

- I never fasted my fish before (is this a new thing?)

I was also always told no for plastic plants. My kids just chose a yellow submarine. Might add more.
What kind of “live plants” are good for these guys?

So will everything just start dying

We never get these temps this late in may. I got peppers, zucchini and squash that I’m afraid are not ready for this and cucumbers hardly making it because of transplant shock. I put what coverage I had over them tonight (not touching leaves) but it’s super windy and I’m afraid it’s just going to rush under it. I got really creative with my set up using a emergency blanket ,stakes and heavy duty clips. Will remove once that morning sun hits tho.

I don’t want to restart but that 42 number has me nervous

I’ve looked with no luck. A lot of really bad photos. I’m looking for a photo of Michael in front of his Gary Indiana home. Either from childhood (preferred) or his 2003 visit. If there’s other maybe share them too?

My 10 year old got assigned to Michael as his famous Hoosiers project. We’ve spent days rhinestone a glove, visiting thrift stores. He’s just finishing up his poster this weekend and I thought this photo would be a nice touch.

I’m so excited for him! We named him Jackson after Michael when he was born. lol as a lifelong fan this project just tickled me to death. He’s going to have the best project ever ha ha

What a moment! There’s usually a TON of stuff cds, vinyls, cassettes. Even random fedoras at a local thrift store. My son got chosen to be Michael Jackson in the 4th grade wax museum famous Hoosiers project. My heart was HAPPY when he got this as a lifelong fan since the 80s. My stuff is in storage so we had this idea to go to thrift stores get some cds or whatever as props. This would be an easy A. He was excited too. He already completed the essay and we have to put together the poster tonight.

Apparently this stuff has been flying off the shelves since the biopic came out. Our second option was Amazon for a glove or something and none of its available currently with a week or so wait (too late for us it’s due Wednesday) But I’m actually loving it!

Went away came back to leggy tomatoes plants. I’m putting them in a bigger pot today. How do I keep these alive? They are so far. I got two new grow lamps delivered today. I don’t know if they can save them

I think it might be a keloid scar? After a cyst back in November. It burst, became infected. Went through the process of getting it removed, then the sac removed. I got 4-5 stitches. Even the stitches ended up getting infected and I followed ALL the correct instructions. Now I have the gift of this gross looking scar that’s bigger then what I started out with before the cyst got angry

Of course it’s in a visible area too
