Trying to find an episode.

It was a couple where either they both were hoarders or one of them was. They had adult children, but they had one son who was a teenager still living in the house and in the hoard.

The adult children were worried about their younger brother because they believed the hoard and living in it was starting to mess him up psychologically.

I just remember there was one part of the episode the teenage son was sleeping in his room surrounded by clutter. When he was asked how he felt about the hoard. He kinda talked like he was sedated saying he didn’t think it was a big deal or that there was anything wrong with it.

I’m curious about this episode because I was wondering if the hoard was successful or not.

Hoarders S9/E6 Why did Sandra lose career by a lawsuit?

Sandra’s episode is very tragic. No, she wasn’t the nicest, but she sick. Very much.

Before everything went wrong she was a very popular interior designer. However, a lawsuit damaged and basically ruined her career.

Does anyone know the facts about the lawsuit? Like what it was about.

Does anyone know if there is a play to watch Genesis (2021) subbed, at least.

For those that might know it. It’s a Brazilian **telenovela, and from my understanding it was never officially dubbed. I have found some dumbed on Dailymotion but not all the episodes are, and the person who uploaded the dubs hasn’t added anymore in a long time.**

**However, it is on Tubi, but you cannot turn on English sub. It lets you turn on subtitles but doesn’t give English as an** **option****. Not sure why .**

**Even some of the YouTube videos the sub doesn’t let English.**

**It’s a great made series and it’s crazy that it’s so hard to find even a good subbed version.**

The first episode of Fear Thy Neighbor left me with many conflictions

The body line is. This all happened because two men couldn’t let anything go. Both in the wrong and brought innocent people into the mix.

It started when Roland’s dog attacked Tony’s two young girls. Yes, any parent would be upset by that. However, the girls were told to wait on the porch and they didn’t listen. Instead they opened the door and the dog attacked them.

Okay, it was two children making an innocent mistake. However, you would think a good guard dog would know the difference between real threats and innocent children. However, again, they were told to wait outside and they didn’t listen.

Roland without hesitation, offered to pay for the girls medical bills. He didn’t even care about the facts of who was more in the wrong the girls or the dogs. No, he saw innocent kids making an innocent mistake and he offered to pay for what happened.

So he wasn’t a complete asshole.

It wasn’t until after he paid the bill, Tony brought more bills. Roland, rightfully believing Tony was trying to con more money out of him. Refused to pay another bill.

They went to court and Roland won.

Even still despite legally not having to pay Roland still offered to help. He had his son in law talk to Tony to make a payment plan. Tony refused and demanded it all in one go.

Tony was in the wrong for that. The man legally didn’t have to give another penny, and yet to make it right and keep peace Roland still offered to pay just in payments.

So the real starter of this feud was Tony. If he had not been an ass about the payment plan. I doubt any of the following events would have happened.

Roland, did wrong too. Like the girls saying he’d let the dog outside the house when they were coming home from school. Or risking their safety by trying to damage their dad’s four wheeler.

But Tony was no better. He knew Roland had PTSD and the sound of the four wheeler would cause him to react.

(That was how Tony got around so…maybe it wasn’t intentional but I can believe it was. But not sure)

Tony also wanted to act like Roland was in the wrong for trying to hurt his girls. Tony didn’t help either. He put them in harm with the wood situation. Which resulted in Roland and his son in law getting arrested.

Which was completely ridiculous that only they got arrested. Tony was not as handicapped as he makes himself out to be. He is only missing one leg, and there is no way in hell there isn’t at least one, one legged person in prison. He shot at the son in law and the son in law threw wood at him in the face. Which legally he had the right to do. Tony attacked him first.

It’s ridiculous only Roland and his son in law got arrested and not Tony. Even Roland’s son in law said he understood why he got arrested but Roland had nothing to do with it. They were locked up for two weeks. While Tony got to stay at home like nothing happened despite using a gun.

My heart broke for Roland’s daughter. You could see how just the memory of being left alone for two weeks without her husband or dad terrified her. It was sad.

Then we get to the big moment….

Tony killed Roland’s dog. Well, bottom line is this. If the dog was on his property and he felt threatened by the dog. Legally he had the right to. And also…even if the dog wasn’t meaning harm going on the property. The dog had attacked before so…I’m pretty sure legally Tony still had the right to do it.

Do I believe Tony saw this as his chance to finally get rid of the dog and also spite Roland. Yes, I can believe that. Because everyone knew that Roland loved that dog. They all knew doing that was going to make him snap.

Tony wasn’t an angel. He was an ass, put his daughters in harm already before, and purposely antagonized Roland.

So yes, I do believe, part of the reason he did it was out of spite.

As a pet parent, yes, it is definitely possible to love a pet like they are your child. I have no doubt in my mind that Roland loved that dog. Especially, after his daughter moved out. That dog was his best friend and all he had. So Tony killing that dog hurt Roland like he lost a child.

But here is the thing, I’m in no sense saying it would be right, but if Roland had just tried to kill Tony. I wouldn’t support it, but I could go….yep, I see how it happened.

However, that’s not what Roland did, he was willing to kill two innocent children and several cops just to get Tony.

Thats where he was in the wrong.

You don’t take your anger at one person out on others. Especially, two innocent children. One he almost did kill. He was even willing to kill officers that were trying to help save the little girl. Yes, the officers wanted to help, Tony. But it was very clear their main goal was to get those two children out of there. Especially, the injured one.

No matter how much someone is hurting and I have no doubt Roland was. It’s still no excuse to risk killing two innocent children and several cops just because one man wronged you.

The villains in this are Tony and Roland. Equally.

The victims are those they dragged into their war.

Hands down her most underrated villain

For those that don’t know. This is Masato from her Mermaid Saga.

He is described as “an immortal child with the face of an angel and a soul like a devil*. He is the perfect example of the danger of immortality.

In the manga, despite being a child, he is the oldest character in the series. He has lived for over 800 years. Something that horrifies the character Yuta. Who has been alive for 500 hundred years.

The series makes it clear what kinda person he is. Manipulative, abusive, and cruel. How a life of loneliness and loss has made him into a monster that will stop at nothing to get what he wants.

And he knows, he can get away with it. He knows his physical appearance and immortality gives him the control in every aspect of his victim. They from what we know have only mainly been women. It doesn’t say that he has never forced a male to be his companion but judging by the fact he tries to kill Yuta to take Mana. Instead of being will to be with a companion with both of them. Seems to give truth that his victims are only women.

Women already have difficulty with adult male abusers. (Men can be victims of female abusers as well)

Imagine being abused by an immortal child, and she knows that no one would believe her. She would be labeled the villain. She would be labeled crazy. She would be the one in trouble for such claims.

I think the scariest thing isn’t so much he is pure evil. It is his good nature became twisted and turned into cruelty.

It shows in a flash back him taking care of his real mother. Giving her the mermaid flesh hoping she would get better. Only to turn into a monster. We learn for over a hundred years he was on his own, but still cared about the people that took him in. Only to suffer time and time again by losing them to various things.

This loss and the wanting to be loved and even give it. Made him desperate enough to give another’s mermaid flesh. However, very rarely did he get it. So that probably messed him up as well.

I’m sure the first several victims he felt bad for, but over time he made himself not care. To the point he truly didn’t.

It’s interesting how immortality preserves the body, and destroys the soul. Destroys the ability to feel and think the way normal people do.

Because we learn that he gives the flesh to people without telling them what it is. So he takes away their choice because his desire for a companion has warped him so much.

We are not really sure what makes Masota turn on his forced companions, but I think it is clear why. By the story Misa tells. That being she tricked into eating the flesh. At first they were happy. They took care of each other.

She admits he was always taking care of her.
Much like we seen him do for his original mother.

However, once she realized he wasn’t aging and his injuries healed. She became scared and demanded to know who he was or what he was. That was when he told her that he gave her mermaid flesh.

Things got bad and she tired to kill him just to get away from him.

So I think this is possibly what happened to all the previous companions. Maybe not all since Masota makes a point that he actually liked Misa and found her nice. So maybe there were some that were not and he got rid of them quickly or the mermaid flesh wore off.

So he is still that child that loved and took care of his mother. But the pain of immortality made those characteristics disturbed and cruel.

So much so that he forces women to be his companion and takes care of them. But no act of love is forced. That is the difference between mortal Masota and and immortal Masato

So much in fact that he doesn’t feel remorse or care about what he did to Yukie. Despite being so kind to him.

He is also terrifying because he is what immortality would make a person. After loss, world tragedies, and no hope for a normal life it would turn someone with immortality into a heartless monster.

For me the most chilling part is when he is asked about giving mermaid flesh to people.

He coldly smiles and says “let’s see how was the first one I gave mermaid flesh to?”. He thinks for a moment, before casually, “I think she was my real mother but I can’t remember anymore”.

He has lived so long that he doesn’t even know the name of or remember if the woman he was devotedly taking care of was his mother or not.

The tragedy of that is mind blowing. That you can live so long you don’t even remember your own mother.

And even more tragic and horrifying is…he doesn’t care. Because it’s just another of many countless losses to him.

However, he still cries when Misa officially dies even though he tries to deny to himself that deep down, in his own really fucked up way, he cared about her.

Hinting at maybe, just maybe, I mean like razor thin maybe. There is still that sweet kid, he once was deep inside.

Rumiko Takahashi has said before she plans to do more with this series. However I think the last time she said this was 2009. Here we are now and still nothing.

Not hate on Rumiko, hell no, I just hope she does someday do more with this series. Especially regarding this character.

Trying to find a show and an episode of it. I will describe it.

It’s very vague but I swear once I saw an id channel show that involved the killing of a new police captain.

If I remember right, he wasn’t as popular among some officers because he found out they were getting overpaid and the previous captain didn’t take complaints about certain officers serious.

He was changing things and it made him unpopular.

I remember at the end when people that knew him talked about him. They said he was a great guy and it was a shame that his career was ended before he could really prove himself and make things better.

I swear, I remember this true case was featured on a show.

Trying to find 2 Fear Thy Neighbors. Help.

I’m going to describe them the best I can.

  1. It was a feud started over one guy not keeping up with his lawn, because as he claimed he liked his yard looking more like the free woods (my description not his). But the neighbors didn’t like it because it wasn’t up to the standard of the neighborhood.

(Honestly, I think the guy was being honest about liking his yard to look the way it did. But also I think it’s fair to say since he worked a lot he simply wanted down time to rest and be lazy on his time off. So he didn’t care to bother with keeping it up.

So the guy killed was a new neighbor, and one of the older neighbors could tell he was a hot head. So he basically started using the manipulate the hot tempered new neighbor into intimidating the guy with the unkept law into finally doing it like the old neighbor had wanted him to do for a while.

If I remember right the neighbor with the unkept law killed the hot tempered new neighbor but it was completely in self defense. Because after he shot the guy HE called the police to tell them what he had done. As soon as it happened, and that’s what someone does in real self defense.

But a lot of people in the neighborhood were pissed odd because the old neighbor that was egging it on didn’t face any legal trouble. Even though it was clear he was fanning the flames.

  1. I cannot remember how the feud started but it was two guys basically picking on or bullying this one guy.

The guy that killed them was kinda…I guess the word is seemed like a weak guy they could push around. He put up with it for a long time and basically snapped.

I remember in the episode he said, if I’m not mistaken, he said he prayed to God to forgive him for what he was about to do. Then shot them.

When he was arrested one of the neighbors actually brought the guys dog to him so he could say goodbye because the neighbor knew the guy was going to jail and wouldn’t see his dog ever again. The neighbor got emotional because he knew for the guy that dog was like his child and he didn’t want the guy to not be able to say at least goodbye to it.

If you know the episode names or season, please let me know. I would appreciate it.

Fear Thy Neighbor: S4 E2. What is wrong with this couple?

I just finished watching Fear Thy Neighbor: S4 E2. The episode titled Deadly Measures.

This is one of the most bizarre episodes, and I actually understand why the crime happened. I don’t support it, because it wasn’t self defense.

Hear me out:

Someone coming at you and you gun them down stopping them. That is self defense.

Reloading the gun and shooting while the attack is down and you know they can’t get up and you still shoot them. That is not self defense.

Erwin, snapped, and I do not blame him. I get it, because I think as humans we all know that we can only bear so much for so long.

The couple was harassed by these two clearly mentally disturbed people for years. It wasn’t a one time argue and gun them down thing. No, it was years and years of harassment. Until the mild mannered Erwin finally snapped.

We can all understand that. Was it right, no and even he knows that, but the bottom line is. It’s a situation….you can understand why it happened and can even ask yourself what would I have done. While still pointing out it wasn’t the right thing to do.

One thing I have to ask is does anyone know what made this couple disturbed.

Yes, I understand the couple lost a child, but then neglected the one they had.

Had no money yet still wasn’t evicted after years. I know it says they had nothing really in the house but apparently they had some money if they got to keep it.

Were they possibly using the rest for drugs or something?

This couple seems to be in a shared psychosis episode. If not on drugs.

Because it’s one thing to be jealous your neighbors life is easier. It’s another thing to hate them for trying to help you, and starting a years long war over the miss understanding of a trash can.

Has anyone ever talked about what was actually going on with this couple? Was it drugs or a rare example of two people in the same psychosis state. (I heard that can happen)

I do hope their son is alright. My heart goes out to him more than anyone. Hell, the show barely addressed him. This is a kid living in poverty with two mentally unstable or drug addict parents, and he saw them get killed and was put in foster care from my understanding. I just pray he is alright.

Just watched this woman’s story on the true crime show Twisted Love. It’s one of the most tragic, unfair, and avoidable crime I’ve ever heard of.

Kathleen Seely, to all that knew her was a caring, loving, mother, grandma, and friend. Also a devoted Christian. Anyone who knew her had only good to say about her.

For a long time, she was a traditional stay at home mom. Devoted to her children and church.

After some time she decided to get into nursing school. A perfect job for a kind hearted person like her. Even though it brought about the end of her first marriage. It wasn’t a negative situation. Her first husband and her just grew apart.

It was at her job she meant a man named Kenneth Sheldon. Despite their age differences the two became good friends. It became close relationship with platonic bond between them.

Things took a dark turn for their relationship when Kathleen began dating a man named, Stephen Seely. A once divorced man with two young daughters.

Not long after Kathleen and Steve married. Kenneth confronted both of them in public and told Kathleen that Steve was wrong for her. That she should be with him. That he loved her and demanded she be with him.

This let to a volatile altercation between Steven and Kenneth. It also lead to problems between Steven and Kathleen. Since Steve believed there was something going on between Kathleen and Kenneth. Which Kathleen completely denied and there was no proof she was lying.

Steve began treating her badly but she stayed loyal to Steve for the shake of his two young daughters. Who she loved dearly. Also because she loved him as well.

Many saying it was a complex situation where Steve did love her, but his temper made him bad at giving love. But after joining a church things began getting better. Though her children had many doubts.

Things only got worse for Kathleen. Kenneth began making advances to her, getting plates with her name on it, and telling everyone they were together.

The hire ups at their work did not fire Kenneth. Just put them on different work schedules. Which did little to nothing to stop Kenneth’s obsession.

Finally she filed a restraining order against Kenneth. It did nothing. Kenneth told the judge that Kathleen lead him on. That they were together secretly and she was denying it because she didn’t want people to know she was cheating on her husband.

The judge believed him and tossed out the restraining order.

As a last ditch effort, she quiet her job and began working at another health center. It wasn’t long before Kenneth began showing up to her job and sitting outside his car all day waiting for her.

She filed another restraining order against him, but again it was tossed out. The judge saying that because Kenneth wore sunglasses, Kathleen couldn’t know for sure if it was Kenneth or not. Despite him having her name on his license plate.

This was very frightening for Kathleen because the law wouldn’t help her. Instead it seemed they blamed her. That she brought this all on herself by being too nice or a liar.

It wasn’t until another woman, named Jewel, that worked with Kenneth filed a restraining on him. After he began to stalk her and made advances at her. One time he did while a grieving family of a recently passed away patient was just outside the door.

Kenneth was arrested and many people who worked with Kathleen and him testified against him. He was found guilty and sentenced to 30 days in prison.

Jewel, terrified of what he would do to her once he got out. Moved out of state. With Jewel gone Kenneth turned his obsession back to Kathleen.

Sometime after being let go, he stalked Kathleen to a public grocery store. Kathleen claimed her tired to hit her with his car and she moved out of the way in time. She field another restraining order on him claiming he tired to harm her. That she was in fear of her life.

Unfortunately, for her at that time in 2001 stalking was not taken serious. Because once again a judge dismissed her claims. Kenneth’s probation was extended to 2002. Since he was still on probation for stalking and harassing Jewel.

But it was a probation sentence he would never finish.

On September 9, 2001, Kathleen showed up to work like usual. The moment her fellow employee and friend opened the door for her Kenneth came running up and pushed his way into the building.

Kathleen screamed for her friend to run and call the police. Kenneth at that moment pulled out a gun and refused to leave.

One employee, though out of desperation, begged Kenneth to at least let them get the children out the building first.

Kenneth agreed and the employees evacuated the children to the gym. One employee managed to call the police. They repeated that they heard Kathleen trying to talk Kenneth out of doing what he was doing. He refused.

Kathleen’s husband Steve was out and about at that time and noticed all the police cars in a rush in the direction of Kathleen’s work. He followed the cops and tried to learn what was going on.

The police set up outside the building trying to understand what was going on and to make a plan to get inside and help.

Suddenly they heard gun shots. Seven in total.

Officers tired to act as fast as they could, and mainly get the children out. As well as any other hostages. Once the building was cleared.

Hearing that Kenneth may still be inside and dangerous. The police prepared for the worse. Once suited up for their protection as well. The police entered the building after three long hours.

The police searched for the gunman but what they found was a heartbreaking and disturbing sight.

Lifeless on the floor was Kathleen Seely and Kenneth Sheldon. Officers knew right away it was a murder suicide.

Kenneth couldn’t have Kathleen in life and in his twisted belief they would now be together in death.

As if that was not tragic enough. The death of Kathleen was suppose to be used to bring awareness to the seriousness of stalking. To make the public and the court system take harassment serious.

Since this event was completely avoidable if only the court had taken Kathleen’s fears and pleading for help serious.

Tragically, two days later, Kathleen would be forgotten. When one of the darkest days in America happened, 9/11.

It dominated the news and completely buried Kathleen’s story. While 9/11 was a beyond tragic event.

No one should meet that kind of fate. To be killed just because she made the innocent mistake of becoming friends with a dangerous and disturbed individual. To die in a way that was completely avoidable if the courts had just helped her.

And then is completely forgotten.

At least now more people are hearing her story. She deserves to be remembered for what she was a good soul that the world needs more of.

(Edit: I should have said in the title was her real name Ymir.)

I know this kinda of a pointless subject, to many in the fandom. However, I’ve always found Ymir Fritz very interesting. She is like the ultimate chilling warning that love isn’t always wonderful, or healthy. It can destroy those involved and those in the way.

I think she sticks out to me because far to open we focus on the positivity of love. Because wanting to be loved in a natural human thing. In a way we are all like Ymir.

While watching the show. We learn of course that Ymir was a young girl enslaved by the Eldians. Her parents killed and her tongue removed.

King Fritz punished her for “allegedly” letting a pig escape. Thus later got the titan power and he used her as weapon to build his empire.

However, I noticed something. (Correct me if I’m wrong). I don’t remember her ever being called Ymir before being enslaved.

It’s also impossible to believe that the very people who cut her tongue out…would give a damn what her name was.

Ymir is only referring to as Ymir in her life by King Fritz when he tells her he shall ‘reward’ her with his ‘seed’.

Could it be possible that Ymir was not her original name, but was given to her Fritz.

Yes, after gaining her tongue back with the titan power. She could have easily said her real name, if keep in mind…lived completely with a slave mentally. So she rarely if ever spoke. So it’s not hard to believe that if Fritz gave her the name Ymir she didn’t stop him.

Also Fritz stripped her of everything that made her a human. Killed her family, cut out her tongue, sent men to hunt her in the woods over a pig, forced her to carry his children, demanded she get up like the slave she was even after taking a spear for him….he stripped her of everything in death to. By making their daughters eat her.

With all that said….i really wouldn’t be shocked if Ymir was not her real name. Fritz gave it and out of unhealthy love and devotion she accepted it.

I could totally be wrong but it’s not impossible to believe.

(If I am wrong. Please correct me gently. 😂)
