I wanted to understand my collection better so I don't repeat frags of the same scent profiles and avoid redundancy. Also to know what kind of frags I naturally lean towards.

This analysis was really good. I am posting the highlights.

I would recommend this to someone who is into the hobby and planning to build a collection mindfully. Analysis really help.

(Mods let me know if it is an incorrect flair. I will do the needful)

Paris Corner - Minya and SDJ 62 ✨

For the past 9–10 months, I've been using Bum Bum Cream and SDJ 62, and I've grown to absolutely love the scent profile. Not only does it work beautifully with my body chemistry, but I also find it incredibly versatile - perfect for balmy evenings, beach outings, casual café runs, or even lazy stay-at-home days. That warm, fuzzy sweetness just works for me.

SDJ 62 opens with a delicious blend of nutty pistachio, almond, and caramel. The fragrance is fairly linear, which I don't mind at all - it's a body mist, after all. Surprisingly, it performs quite well for me. While projection stays moderate for around 2-3 hours, the scent lingers much longer on both skin and fabric.

Naturally, I started looking for an EDP version with better projection. Like many others, I found myself eyeing Paris Corner Minya after all the rave reviews and comparisons. I specifically wanted a partial bottle so the juice would already be macerated and ready to wear - Middle Eastern fragrances have almost always needed some maturation in my experience.

I finally got hold of a bottle, and here's my take.

Minya opens with a noticeable blast of alcohol alongside an intensely nutty accord. The almond note is far more prominent than the pistachio. Thankfully, this phase doesn't last long. As it settles, the fragrance transforms into a creamy blend of white florals, caramel, and vanilla. While I enjoy the dry down quite a bit, my favourite aspect of SDJ 62- the pistachio and subtle tropical nuances - doesn't stick around in Minya for as long as I'd like.

That said, I can easily see myself reaching for it regularly. It's an effortless everyday scent and layers beautifully with Bum Bum Cream and SDJ 62. I haven't fully tested the projection yet, but longevity seems promising. The bottle itself is quite chunky, which is pretty typical of Middle Eastern fragrances.

**TLDR:** Minya is a great buy overall. It's not an exact dupe of SDJ 62, but it's very close. Compared to 62, it's creamier, smoother, and slightly less tropical. If you're looking for an everyday gourmand with a familiar SDJ-inspired DNA and better longevity, Minya is well worth considering.

Mac and cheese - without cheese

Wheat macaroni and nade the sauce with avocado + paneer + splash of milk + pasta water.

I swear it tasted better than it looks. There's bad lighting at home 😞
