I lost 21 pounds

I saw the pic on the left of myself in March and was horrified! I cannot believe I let myself go! I had 2 miscarriage, finally got pregnant, 1 year postpartum and caregiving my mom who had a stroke. I told myself I needed to do something for myself since I was suffering from sciatica, ulnar syndrome and now prediabetic. I am a nurse and knew how to lose weight, but I was struggling! I started tirzepatide in April 2026 at 169 pounds, 30 BMI. I started off microdosing due to GI sensitivities then moved on to standard dosing last month. I just came back from vacation and was thinking the worse, that I gained weight. Actually I have been maintaining my weight loss with tirz from Gimme Apothecary no additives 3mg, weighting in at 148 pounds, so I lost 21 pounds! I would love to be 140 or less. I am just beyond excited to reach below 150 before my 41 birthday (this is my birthday month)!

First time using Ola and Mountain Care

My husband ordered tirz with glycine on Monday (Memorial Day). He got approved same day! Next business day Mountain Care sent a text and he got an email tracking that it will be sent via USPS. It should be here today, so took 3 days to deliver to Hawaii. Ola support was awesome at providing an itemized receipt and letter of medical necessity for FSA in 2 business day. Ola and Mountain Care service has been great so far. He looks forward to trying the pens!

Microdosing for weight loss does work!

I started 4/1/2026 at 169 pounds. Today I am 155!

I started tirz at 1.5mg and the highest I have been was 2mg, but nausea was too much for me. I tried to split dose, but that messed me up. I am currently at weekly 1.75mg. I still have about 15 more pounds to go, but I plan to dose slowly every 4-8 weeks .25-.5 at a time so that my GI symptoms are tolerable.

I do walk/workout 3-5x a week. I don’t count calories, just eye ball carb count and eat a lot of proteins and veggies. I drink Bloom, take collagen, Liquid lV, Loraine water, Fiber gummies and the occasional Colace or Tums. I also have an order for Zofran.

This journey although early is worth the leap to try! I’ve influenced my husband to join me so it’s more fun than being a closet jabber now 🤗.

Traveling in June

Hi Tirz friends. I’m going to Japan end of June for 2 weeks. Do you guys do this?

Order extra before trip?
I normally order monthly and didn’t want to wait too long due to all the shipping delays. I am not trying to stockpile, but I caved and ordered a 3 month supply.

Travelled with Tirz to Japan?
I will do one dose before I go then 2 doses while in Japan. I have travelled with insulin, needles and sharps box in the US with no issues before. I’m sure Tirz shouldn’t be an issue if you have the Rx. I have my TSA med cooler bag with thermometer and ice pack ready. I think 1 vial is enough and will bring 4 needles and alcohol pads. My hotel will have a fridge and only moving hotels once. What else am I missing?

Dosing while traveling
I normally titrate at the beginning of the month and since I am traveling during that time I started thinking about dosing in general. I want to eat while I am on my trip. I seriously love food and since being on Tirz I hardly eat out and snack! My GI symptoms are tolerable so don’t want to risk titrating up and being miserable. Has anyone titrated down so they can enjoy a little?

Thanks friends!
