I deleted my 6 year old safe file

It was an accident, I was trying to delete another save file. I have no backups and have been un able to find ways to possibly get it back

6 years of progress, ships, an upgraded freighter, S class weapon, and I was working on building my dream Corvette.

All lost, all gone, all to be never be seen again and forever a stain in my emotional being.

I can't start over again, it hurts

I love Kislev

Specifically, the Ice Court.

I love their units, I love their theme, their lands, mechanics, and what there is to see. I love the struggle, to fight against evil to save the world. I love their unique settlements, much to offer, much to do. I love their lords, all of them which bring something different to the table.

I cannot stop playing them. Sometimes it is Boris, sometimes Baba Yaga, most of the times, the Queen. I love killing Norscans, demons and the like, then defending when more come to my lands.

I love their units, Jack of all trades, master of none. I can always feel I am ahead in some ways, but never truly OP (unless you have Boris Ursus Bear stack). I like their magic, not great, not bad.

I like their special mechanics, to build reputation with different benefits. Some are great, some are ok. I like Atamans and what they can do. With the right skills, an army for less than gold.

I loved their campaign, a narrative goal for which to start. Loved when I first played it, loved when I finished it. The Queen saved her God, and restored her home.

I love Kislev

I have played Total War Warhammer 3 for almost 1700 hours. Here is my tier list of factions so far

S tier: Factions that I have enjoyed playing and have played multiple times because I enjoy them.

  • I have a thing for the Ice Court that I find really fun.
  • Elsbeth is arguably one of the most enjoyable factions to play as Empire.
  • Skarbrand go kick
  • Oxylotl is playing doom with a lot of lil guys.
  • Ikit Claw go BOOM
  • The Changeling is just fun all the time. Secret army doing mean things for the lols
  • Both Arkaon and Belakor are some of the Warriors of Chaos I have enjoyed the most
  • High Elf Sea Patrol has unique mechanics that just get me every time. I get to pelt people with arrows too!

A tier: Factions I have enjoyed, but for one reason or another, I dont like them as much for the previous tier.

  • Both Mogur and Taurox are just fun as beastmen. The first one is cheesy and I get to kill hippy elves, the other one is a train that kills emo elves. What is there not to love?
  • The Chaos Dwarves are my favorite faction to play, but none of the lords truly stand out for me among each other. I like trying them all once in a while.
  • Malus has for me been the most fun Dark Elf faction so far. He is also, arguably, one of the strongest lords in the game.
  • I like dwarves a lot, Belegar is fun to just challenge and get the Eight Peaks. Malakai is just GUN GUN GUN time.
  • My loyalty is to Karl Franz, a definitely NON Starter campaign, unless the map is made bigger. Balthasar is fun to just go magic mode as humans. I enjoy using the lore of metal against not Vietnam.
  • Grimgor was one of the few Greenskin factions I liked, probably cus I went Black Ork mode all around.
  • Eltharion is the only High Elf faction I have enjoyed. Gotta love the super jail he has.
  • Both Skulltaker and Arball are fun as heck. One goes around killing big lords for big game, the other one goes around killing big armies for big game. Guess I like going around killing a lot (dont tell the witch hunters)
  • Both Boris and BabaYaga are fun to me. The former is just kicking Chaos in the nuts, the other is turning elf criminals into soups. I like using her hexes too, I get to be a big asshole hehe
  • Wulfrix is just raiding and pillaging and I liked that. I don't have more to say I enjoy the simplicity of it. Also teleporting is fun.
  • I like Nakai he is big and angry. I just take him through the entire world and killing Chaos for fun
  • The Maneaters are simple, get a contract, kill some fellas, move on. I like that more than I thought I would.
  • Throt is fun and hard. Gotta love making big evil mutant rats and ratting all over the place
  • I always just love Khemri. Unifying not Egypt while controlling the most arrogant being in all of Warhammer is fun as hell (especially with mods for Tomb Kings)
  • Both Vlad and Ghorst have been very enjoyable. Vlad cus Vampire Empire go suck (vampire edition), and Ghorst because having an immortal infinite army of zombies is so very enjoyable.
  • Valkia is fun. Warriors of Chaos mechanics with Khorne. I just like that

B tier: Factions that I find ok to play. Sometimes I play them because I want to try a goal or something, but don't always leave me having as much fun as the previous tier.

  • Brettonia is only good with mods (that I play with). Even then, Luen is enjoyable in the sense of "I shall unite not-France". Rapanse has useless mechanics, but I like being a crusader!
  • I like both Thorgrim and Karak Kadrin king, yet I feel both don't really have super special mechanics. Nothing bad with that, but it can feel lame at times. I like slayer doomstack tho.
  • Both Tyrion and Imrik are fun. Tyrion cus uniting Ultuan is one hell of a goal, Imrik cus I get to make this arrogant ass into a truly strong one man army. Also dragons are cool.
  • Mazdamundi, the racist frog we all love. I like him, he is super strong and I get to kill the lesser races. Gor-rok is fun too, BECAUSE WHO ARE ALL THIS PEOPLE ON MY YARD. He also has Lord Kroak right away so kick ass! Nothing more to them though/
  • I like Tarmukan, I like his heroes, I like making armies that are made stronger thanks to heros. The end.
  • Norsca rework did a lot for the factions. Dolgan is fun, but I hate were it starts. Troll fella is fun, but I have no more to say about it? Sometimes I try him again cus I may have not felt the true troll experience I dunno.
  • Eshin is fun, but I hate Cathay. That is it, I like the mechanics but I am surrounded by trouble I don't actually care to deal with. Still fun tho.
  • Both Libaras and Nagash #1 simp are fun to play. I actually got my first very hard win with Libaras, she is really strong; yet she feels she lacks SOMETHING to make her more interesting. Maybe a certain vampire faction and queen The simp is fun, I like getting to Nagizzar and having Arkhan simp for his boss lol.
  • I enjoy Kyros, he is a nice bird. However, I get bored quickly with him. Did I become too strong and got bored? Idunno I just don't like it as much.
  • I actually enjoyed Cylostra on a recent playthrough, it was more enjoyable that what I thought it was going to be. That said, besides horse ghosts, she has not much going on. Same thing with Noctilus, fun a bit and that is it.
  • Orion and the Sisters of Twilight are enjoyable. That is it, got nothing more to say. Secure the forests and go off I guess. It is entreating to do so.

C tier: I will just summarize my experience with all this factions like this: They are fun maybe in concept or idea, but I just didn't really have fun with them in the long run. Some are more enjoyable in certain aspects, but overall, not factions I ever felt like playing again after one time. Sometimes I do try some again for one thing or another, but not really a lot.

D tier: Factions that I just did not like to play. Either they felt like other factions too much, were too hard or complicated to enjoy, Some were just too boring.

Those I have not played, is cus either I like other factions more, or the concept of them just bored the hell out of me. Still gotta try them before delivering final judgment though
