Dublin Show 11 July

I honestly don't understand why people have been moaning so much on this sub about his dublin shows.

It was great, crowd interaction was nice and there was an fantastic vibe (except for that one guy who was loud, not heckling, with his friends and in lovely Irish fashion was told to stfu).

Yes, there were some moments and jokes that missed but he recovered pretty well.

For those curious, he did the Craig Simons act, joked about Vicar St being a dump and some UK politics.

Stage 3 rectal adenocarcinoma

My father just completed his first 5 weeks of Radiotherapy + chemotherapy. No treatment for the next 5 weeks before next scan.

Any advice on how to navigate the post radiotherapy period that is extremely painful for him?

We are on day 6 after last session.

It is really hard to see him in so much pain everytime he has bm.

Cycling route safety

Any areas to avoid from Dundrum to robinhood industrial estate?

Considering joining the bouldering gym there but concerned about navigating unfamiliar areas and get my bike stolen or worse.

160hrs done!

Felt pretty good

Exercised on day 1 & 2 but felt recovery was going to be an issue. So did not do much besides walking on my daily commute.

Day 2 was probably the hardest mentally.

I was craving food but was definitely not hungry. The idea of food was the biggest mental battle.

Was quite productive at work after day 2 and pretty focused all the way through.

- Sodium, Magnesium, Potassium, Zinc and Calcium daily.

- Coffee & Green Tea

- Broke fast with chicken broth I made yesterday.

My motivation was gut reset and cellular health so I did not weigh myself at all. I feel that it would have been an unhealthy motivator as I am not overweight by any means. 179cm 80kg male.

5 days in - Should I stop?

Best I've felt on a fast!

Been having my electrolytes consistently, had a bit of a headache on day 2 but completely fine now.

Friends saying I'm being reckless by going for my first 7 day fast. Besides a bit of burping this morning after electrolytes, I dont feel week or anything negative.

Am I being irresponsible by going for an extra 2 days?

I have not taken my weight at all as I did not want this to be the carrot at the end of the stick. My goal is to reset my gut, reduce inflammation and cancer risk.

Marriage agreements

Is there absolutely no way for you and your partner to have something like a prenuptial or postnuptial agreement in this country? I read that they are not binding.

Even if both of you are in complete agreement on terms.

We both want a contract that determines what happens to our assets if we ever separate and it seems that there is none here.

Any advice?

My father (76) got diagnosed with rectal cancer

We are still waiting for PET scan results which should come in tomorrow.

I am praying and remaining hopeful that we caught it early on but we still do not know the full extent on it. A prelim report based on MRI, Biopsy and colonoscopy indicate locally advanced rectal cancer.

Any advice on how I can support my dad and help him through this journey?
