Tried to balance out the Blinkerton classics along with their newer stuff, but I also happen to be Matt Damon so I might have put too many newer songs
Kabuki Japanese Restaurant
I got home from work. Me and my GF couldn't figure out what to make for dinner. We don't get food delivered often so we decided to splurge a little. Turns out Doordash has an insane deal for Kabuki. If we had gone in person, I'd probably be spending close to $60 but total price is only around $37
I can't watch Vaush anymore
Ever since he shoulder checked me at twitch con, I just haven't been able to get over it. It was almost as bad as when he made fun of my Aldens shoes
Vaush is right about Daylight Savings
We should change the clocks back in fall and then never touch the clocks again. An earlier sunset would be better than a super late sunrise
Vaush has played this so much that YT is recommending it to me
youtu.beTier List Tuesday
So a while back I had made a tier list by just ranking them based on how I remembered them. I'd look at the album and song names and think "Ok I remember really loving all of these songs so I'll put the album in S, I love most of the songs on this so I'll put in A, and so on".
This time, I decided to re-listen to everything and assign a number score to each song. I don't believe Weezer can make a BAD song so the lowest score I gave anything was a 6/10. I ended up skipping Teal, I figured I was going to put it at the bottom anyway. Its not that I don't like the songs. I just really love the original versions of all the covers and the covers are so similar. I kinda wish they had either picked lesser-known songs where the average listener wouldn't recognize the originals.
Anyway, after getting an average score for every album I placed them on the tier list according to the grading system back when I was in school. I treated S as an A+ and its anything that got an average score of 9.5 or higher. A tier was anything between 9 and 9.4. B tier is 8 to 8.9. And since there were no albums in C, I just put Teal there.
And yeah, some albums stayed exactly where they were before like EWBAITE and Blue. Some moved up and some moved down. But I think this more accurately represents how I view the discography
2017 Dodge Challenger Weird Noise
There's this weird metallic pinging sound that keeps happening. It's the exact same sound every time and seems to happen every 10-15 seconds or so. It happens when the engine is on and off. Anyone know what it could be?
What's your favorite song named after a woman? Cleopatra, Francesca, or Sweet Mary?
reddit.comStill giving these more time
A couple months ago, I listened to every song that Weezer put out on an official studio album/EP. Yesterday, I made a playlist and a post with the 15 songs I wasn't able to get into as much as the other 191. Since I changed up my list I decided, it now only has 8 songs, to delete the old post and put this one up. I'm working on it though. Hopefully by the end of the month, I don't have this playlist at all because I can just say I like every song.
I need to give these another chance
I'm glad it turns out there's only 15 songs. I'm not saying I hate these or that they're bad. The first couple times I heard them, I just couldn't get into them. I'm hoping I can get myself to like them.
Edit: I honestly didn't expect people to have this much of a problem that I don't dig 7.7% of Weezers entire discography
How did you get into Weezer?
I'll start with my own story. When me and my brother were kids we played Rockband and Rockband 2 on the Wii. I don't remember which one, but one of them had Say it Ain't So. We ended up buying other songs like Pork and Beans.

For most of middle school and high school, I only knew about their main hits such as Buddy Holly, Undone, Pork and Beans, Island in the Sun, If You're Wondering If I Want You To, and of course Say it Ain't So. After high school, I occasionally heard some songs like Go Away, Screens End of the Game, Hero, Can't Dance Don't Ask Me, and I Want a Dog.

It wasn't until this year, that I finally decided to listen to every studio album in order. I did so because I had bought concert tickets and realized there was a lot of music I still hadn't heard. I'm so glad I did, because my favorite Weezer songs ended up being the stuff I finally discovered this year.
Advice if there's an album you don't like:
Try listening to it again. There were a couple albums that I didn't like that much on my first time listening. I've gone back and listened to them again and I'm shocked how there were songs I didn't like at all the first time that I like now

Is this normal?
So this morning I got the email below from my landlord.
"This California Senate bill and its predecessor SB 79 is a State of California mandate that Burbank allows nine-story buildings on Olive from Buena Vista to Glenoaks and on Glenoaks from Olive to Alameda. Up to five-story buildings are allowed within one-half mile away. To give some notion of the impact that is Glenoaks to Ninth St.
Please send this to all you family, friends and acquaintances that do not want Burbank to become Down-Town-Los Angeles-Like."
Then he includes a pre-written letter that we can use to voice our disapproval for the bill. Is it normal for landlords to push political positions on tenants?
