Can I apply to the same place I got rejected from for clearing?

So uni of Sheffield is my 100% top (and also I my only confirmed choice, I don’t have an insurance, don’t ask it’s a long story), but I’m a little worried that I won’t make my grade.

In theory, if I get rejected for not meeting my offer, could I then apply for the same course in clearing? To my understanding the clearing grade requirements tend to be lower than standard entry requirements

Ok so this is kinda eating at me

For the essay on P3 I did binding sites (duh, no fucking way am I talking about trophic levels), but my brain was kinda stuck in an enzyme centred place, and I’m really nervous about it. Here’s what I wrote about:

- DNA Polymerase in dna replication
- immunology (I sort of covered everything, specific response + antibodies)
- nutrient cycles (saprobiontic hydrolytic enzymes)
- digestion of proteins (again, enzymes)
- transcription factors and binding of oestrogen

I’m just a bit nervous because they mostly centre around enzymes. Because they’re all in different contexts will they still count as addressing different spec points, or will three of them fall under ‘enzymes are proteins’ on the spec and cost me loads of marks??

I’m hoping it’ll be fine, but it’s just making me nervous

AQA really pmo and I don’t have loads of time

First bio paper for AQA is 4th June and I’m just at such a loss. I’m somehow predicted an A but all year the highest grade I’ve gotten is a B, and even in my mocks I just about scraped a C overall.

I do loads of practice questions, flashcards, videos, notes, I go to the revision sessions at college, and I just can’t get my grade up.

I understand most of the content just fine, I just can’t seem to present the information in the right way to get the marks, and it’s so frustrating. I want to do biology at uni, so I kinda need this to pan out well.

Has anyone else been in a similar boat and managed to sort it out?? I realise I’m leaving it quite last minute but I honestly just don’t know what to do atp

Btw, not even talking about the essay, which does pull my grade down icl, but that’s a beast of its own honestly.

Edited for spelling

Hi guys, as the weather begins turning I find that I need to start introducing electrolytes into my daily routine.

I find that Liquid IV isn’t practical for me, as it tastes too strong in 500ml and I can’t easily carry about a 1L bottle with me.

I’ve also tried Phizz electrolyte tablets, and they did the job, but they were kinda expensive for how many were in a tube and how long they’d last me.

I got an add for Strike on my Instagram feed, and I was wondering if anyone else here has seen this or given it a go. It’s UK based so I’m not sure if it’s available elsewhere in the world, but I thought I’d ask anyway.

Does it look like this brand has any real edge over other brands beyond? Even the prices look similar to a brand that my dad is very familiar with and recommended to me.

If this brand looks credible then I’d be happy to give it a go since it’s UK-based (I’m also in the UK if that wasn’t clear lmao) but I’m also not a nutritionist, nor have I ever spoken with one. I know Reddit may not be the best place for medical information, but I’m looking for anecdotes above anything!

Here’s a link to the website if you want to check it out, but I’ve taken screenshots of the bits I think may be relevant. (May have to post in comments as I can’t seem to add them to the actual post)
