I’ve been questioning my commission prices lately and I’d really appreciate some honest feedback

Someone recently told me that my work isn’t worth what I currently charge. Their point wasn’t that my art is bad, but that my cartoon style doesn’t stand out enough compared to other artists in the same price range.
That made me wonder whether the issue is my pricing or whether I should focus on improving my style. I also feel that people often compare my prices to artists with completely different styles, while I think people commission an artist because they specifically like that artist’s style.
So I’d love some constructive criticism:

-What do you think my cartoon style is missing?

-What would make it stand out more?

-Do you think it’s fair to compare commission prices across completely different art styles, or should each style be judged on its own?

-When you commission an artist, are you paying mostly for technical skill or for their unique style?

I’m not looking for validation, I genuinely want to understand what I could improve to make my work stand out more and feel worth the price I charge.

Am I overestimating my art?

Hi, I’ve been an artist for six years now, and in recent years I’ve tried to create my own and recognizable style. There are still many things I would like to fix (by the way, if you have any advice let me know!) But what I ask myself then looking around is: am I overestimating my art? Is it really worth the money I ask for?
If initially I thought so, the drastic drop in commissions made me straighten my antennas to understand what was wrong. I also had a kind of crisis in which I wanted to give up everything.
Yet I’m taking steps forward. I’m better defining the graphics of my social networks, I’m thinking about how to improve my style, I record videos on social media, but then why do people seem not to appreciate my work?
