Suggestions on platforms?

I know mystery shopping is a side gig, I get it. But I’m always struggling to find work (thats worth it). I use ipsos, presto, reality based group, and market force. I dont like restaurant mystery shopping all that much bc the money just isn’t there. I was making decent money doing shops at Panda Express averaging $20-30 a shop, but they are no longer on ipsos. Thats another thing I hate is when companies move to a diff platform and they dont tell u where they moved to. Ofc google doesnt have the info either🙄… Anyways, the shops I see on the platforms I’m on are either reimbursement only, or the job fee is less than $5. A few years ago when I first started, I remember making $20-30 sometimes up to $50-60 a shop. But now a lot of them have significantly reduced the job fees or got rid of them entirely. So frustrating!!

Im a teacher, so I’m out of work in the summer. That is my reasoning for doing these in the first place. I’m not destitute desperate for every little penny, so doing shops that pay less than $5-10 is not worth all the hassle for me (ESP when the order goes above the reimbursement amount). So I just wanna know if anyone knows any platforms that pay more than $5 a shop? Whether it’s a restaurant or not?

Even better- does anyone know any platforms for gas inspection shops? Like where u go to the gas station and buy something then come back with ur vest and inspect the store & the pumps? I MUCH prefer those bc I dont have the stress of hiding myself when I’m taking photos lol.

Staying the night at others homes

35F going on vacation this week to stay at a friends house. I will be bringing my kid 6F who will be there with other girls there her age. My question is- how can I hide my diapers (both used and unused) from them? The reason I don’t want my daughter seeing it is bc I fear she will announce it to everyone in the house and all her friends at school. What kid wouldn’t? “My mommy wears diapers hehehe!”. The kids would love to have a good laugh at that, wouldn’t they? I’m worried her and/or the other girls will want to go through my suitcase. Not necessarily as bad intention, like looking in my bag for makeup or hair products or smth. I just don’t want her/them opening my bag and seeing the diapers.

Does anyone have any tricks or methods for hiding their diapers from others in the home? ESP kids who might possibly go through ur luggage?

Please note, it’s very important to me that my daughter does NOT know about it bc I work at her elementary school. So I don’t want her spreading the word around to her classmates and therefore it would get back to all my coworkers and other friends moms from her class. I am very self conscious about this and do not want the world knowing, or anyone for that matter besides hubby.

Baking soda hack

I’ve been doing the baking soda hack for a few months now and have had amazing results! For those who dont know, it’s when you use baking soda on cheap cuts such as flank, London broil, eye of round, etc to tenderize them and make them taste like a real steak.

Yesterday at the store I found sirloin steaks 50% off, so OFC I bought them. Without thinking, I applied the baking soda bc it’s become a routine for me. Well the steaks ended up tasting bad. It was overly salty and had a frothy type of texture (yes I rinsed the baking soda off well). I’m assuming I ruined the steaks with the baking soda.

So my question is- which cuts of meat are suitable for the baking soda trick and which ones aren’t? I think it’s safe to assume ribeye & wagyu would be a no, but what about the mid price cuts like sirloin?

Anyone who has a food allergy(s)?

Hi I’m currently about 6mo in 35F. I have a familial history of food allergies, with only having 2 major ones my whole life. I have a lot of food sensitivities, but I could still eat them in small amounts. As of about 6mo ago (close to the time I started the diet), that number has increased exponentially. I cant say for sure which foods are an allergy VS an intolerance VS a sensitivity. But what I know for sure is every time I eat anything besides meat or fruit I get really sick. It could be nausea, diarrhea, headache, or painful hot skin welts (there’s only 1 food that causes anaphylaxis, but I haven’t tested it to see if it got better or worse). Different foods cause different symptoms, but they can be very painful and debilitating. I just find it strange that all this started happening around the same time.

I’m just disappointed bc I’ve heard so many stories about ppl who have had their chronic illnesses reversed, just to have mine become a million times worse. OFC I wasn’t expecting this diet to cure my food allergies, but I also wasn’t expecting to develop a problem with 100 more foods. Now, I know most of the ppl on here are strict carnivores and think I should just go back to complete carnivore and not have to worry about the problem. But here’s my issue- I want to be able to enjoy myself when I’m at a party, potluck, vacation, etc. I still eat carnivore 90% of the time, but I dont want to get to a point where I cant cheat a couple times a month for a slice of pizza, cold crisp salad in the summer, or if I’m traveling or at someone’s house and theres no carnivore friendly meals, etc etc. So does anyone else here have food allergies or intolerances and had things get worse for them on the diet? I do realize there is a possibility that the diet could be unrelated and the timing was just a coincidence… But I wanted to hear from anyone on here who actually has or had food problems before starting the diet, and if the diet made things better or worse???

In case this matters, the reason I am not 100% carnivore is bc when I was I couldn’t sleep. Would only get 1-2hrs a night or nothing at all. I added in small amounts of carbs (mostly just fruit) and that somehow cured it. Another thing that was an issue was my pee was extremely cloudy and frothy looking. To the point where I couldnt see the bottom of the toilet bowl. Sorry if thats TMI, but the pee looking so drastically different scared me… I am on a meat based diet currently, so about 90% of my intake is meat. My pee is slowly going back to clear and I’m sleeping well ☺️
