Best Marriott for Couples

Hi. I am looking for advice please on two future holidays.

We are a couple with no kids. I love relaxing by the pool on non stick plastic sun loungers and nice food and a massage or two but not vital. My husband loves golf and sea views.

  1. Can I get advice please from you good people for a hotel in or around Europe that people liked.

I was looking at Bodrum Edition in Turkey so something like this - around the €500/€700 a night.

  1. Our honeymoon (after 4 yeas married!) to somewhere fabulous - around 1k/2k per night. This does not have to have golf but my husband does love the sea so sea views. Someone did an amazing review of the Marriott in Costa Rica so this is up there at the money.

Thank you so much in advance! I do all the booking and husband just joins so looking for help.

Defending your husband

Genuine question here. Does everyone with partners and husbands/wives protect them and agree with them in public regardless of your opinions? I am hearing a lot about defending your other half in public but then in private or when you go home telling them you disagree and they were wrong.

If I feel strongly about something I will disagree with my husband in public. They are my views and if I think he did something wrong I won't sugar coat it in public and then flick a switch in private.

Danny has an issue with drinking. I have been through it with an ex and I constantly said to him that if your drinking is causing issues with your relationships then you have a drink problem. I can't see how Nia does not see he has a drinking problem - he can't just switch it off when he drinks at home.

I don't want to put the blame on the woman - I am sure we have all had times where people will expect the woman to reign in the man when they should just go to the man. Danny is the one with the drink problem and the hands problem. I am just wondering if people agree with the defend your partner in public but tell them they are wrong in private.

Cruelty free

I'm reading up about the freed beagles and wish to be more serious about my cruelty free purchases. Can anyone guide me on cruelty free candles? I have some DS & Durga and Max Bengimen that I know are cruelty free but what about Trudon and Diptyque? Does anyone know any other brands that don't test on animals? Thank you
