Hi everyone,

I recently noticed that Twitch is offering me the option to enable monetization (subscriptions, bits, channel points and ads) on my channel. The interesting part is that I haven’t officially reached Affiliate status yet.

I’m a bit torn and I’d love to hear from anyone who has opted into this or has experience with it. I have a few specific concerns mainly about ADS.

I really value the atmosphere of my stream, so I don't want to jeopardize it for a few dollars if the "cost" is too high for a growing channel.

Any insights or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Why do streamers from the same category follow me on stream and, after, let's say, 5-15 min, unfollow? Is it a follow-for-follow thing, or what are they doing? It has happened already 3+ times.
