Without irony and without sarcasm let's say something positive about the character of Alicent Hightower

I noticed that the rivalry and animosity between the 2 teams has become quite high so I decided to create posts in both the green and black subreddits to try to see if there is any merit in the opponent.

for example I posted a similar post in the green sub reddit to get people to say the merits of Rhaenyra, Aegon II and Daemon

I'll start, so as not to be a hypocrite.

-Olivia and Emily are excellent actresses, and Alicent is generally well-acted. Emily was especially good in the first season.

-Although I feel some contempt for him because of their arranged marriage and his lack of desire, I like that Alicent actually loved Viserys platonicly, that Viserys's death deeply saddened her and she cherishes a precious memory of him. It's also really nice that she didn't poison him or abuse him when he was infirm. A dysfunctional relationship isn't necessarily abusive.

-The relationship between Alicent and Heleana or Gwayne is also really cute.

-She's much braver, smarter, and more determined than people give her credit for.

Not only when she tries to protect Aegon from Rhaenys's dragonfire or when she openly defies the Green Council in finding Aegon, but even the plan itself in the season two finale or its execution in season three requires considerable boldness and courage (I mean going into your enemy's base, alone, unarmed, offering a plan and then manipulating and creating a situation in which she can maintain that plan), even the very argument at Driftmark shows courage and in a way shows that she truly believed what she was saying.

Without irony and without sarcasm let's say something positive about the character of Daemon Targaryen

I noticed that the rivalry and animosity between the 2 teams has become quite high so I decided to create posts in both the green and black subreddits to try to see if there is any merit in the opponent.

for example I posted a similar post in the green sub reddit to get people to say the merits of Rhaenyra and Aegon II

I'll start, so as not to be a hypocrite.

-Matt Smith does a superb job playing and acting Daemon.

-His fight choreography is spectacular, and he's truly brilliant in the action scenes. I'm not just talking about combat skills and tactical prowess, I'm talking about the aesthetics of the world he fights in.

He's much smarter than people give him credit for. Not only is he very cunning and shrewd, he's also very knowledgeable about Valyrian culture because he reads a lot.

-I love his relationship with Viserys.

-Both Aegon actors are very good, Tom especially. Aegon is generally well-acted.

-The fact that his friends in season two included a Waters and members of minor houses, or the fact that he at least tried to get along with Jace and Luke early on, even involving them in the pink terror prank against Aemond, makes him less classist and less bastard-phobic than many others.

-Despite being severely injured, he has demonstrated both remarkable resilience in being conscious and functionally stable, and also great determination.

-As demonstrated with the plan with Larys in 3x02, he is also braver and smarter than one might give him credit for.

Without irony and without sarcasm let's say something positive about the character of Rhaenyra Targaryen

I noticed that the rivalry and animosity between the 2 teams has become quite high so I decided to create posts in both the green and black subreddits to try to see if there is any merit in the opponent.

I'll start, so as not to be a hypocrite.

- Both Milly and Emma tend to be good actresses, and Rhaenyra is usually well-acted.

- Rhaenyra is genuinely fascinating in many scenes.

- Despite the tragedies she's endured in a relatively short time, she's still much more stable than people give her credit for, making her more resilient and determined than people think.

- She ruled Dragonstone for years and was an advisor to Viserys for a long time.

Her rule is certainly not portrayed as negative or harmful.

Under normal circumstances, she would have been a rather average ruler.
