48hrs post extraction and graft… normal?

48hrs post extraction and graft… normal?

Ugh. I hate teeth things! I am 34 and have had few dental issues ever. I had a tooth ache last week and was surprised to find out I had a huge deep crack in #19 and was told I needed an extraction and graft. I had this done on Tuesday 5/18. Healing has been ok I guess. I’ve been following directions to a Tee. My body is just weird and if stuff can happen, it does. My luck just stinks.

I just have zero frame of reference. Does this look normal? It’s so gross and I just can’t tell. I am TERRIFIED of it failing or a dry socket. Is it looking ok? I tried my best for a photo. Today I noticed some white stuff maybe? Ugh I appreciate any help or tips.

IUD string implanted in c section scar?

Hello!

I had my 2nd mirena placed during my c-section in 2022. Strings were maybe? Originally seen or thought to be ‘tucked’ in. I’ve had crazy odd pelvic pain and just random “stuff” since then. Always kind of addressed as endo maybe, cysts, or being a girl (ugh - glad I left them) I had an US last year w them and they just said iud seen in place.

I met with my new, amazing doctor recently and told her about my abundance of symptoms. Right away I was offered exploratory surgery for my pain. (I want my tubes tied too!) She also wanted an US right away to look at everything, including my IUD. I had my US today and the sonographer mentioned my strings appeared to be embedded in my c section scar in my uterus. I haven’t gotten the report yet but has anyone experienced this? I cannot wait to get everything fixed and be pain free!
