How to install and run Genshin Impact on Nobara 44

Hi All,

As the title says, I want to get back into Genshin Impact but I’m not entirely sure how to do it. So far what I did was:

Install Genshin Impact on a Windows PC and copy the game files to my external hard drive and from there copy it to my Games drive which is partitioned in BTRFS format.

I installed Hoyoplay via Lutris and added the drive location and Hoyoplay linked the game and it says “Start Game”. But when I press the button, the launcher restarts after about 10 seconds which makes me think the game is crashing.

Am I doing anything wrong? Any help and advice is appreciated.

Thank you.

Update: I changed the Runner to Proton 9.0 and got the game to launch and played a bit as well. Super happy that I figured it out even though it might have been a trivial thing to do. You learn something new everyday. Also, copying the game files saved me from a 130GB download so that’s the icing on the cake :D

Looking to rent out a house or apartment for a week

Hi Everyone.

One of my good friends and his family is coming down to Sri Lanka to stay for a week or so. The total number is 6.

Would anyone happen to know of a house/apartment in the greater Colombo area that they could rent/crash at for a week?

If so, please also let me know the rates/charges and facilities available.

Thanks in advance.

Selling Gaming PC

Hi all

A friend of mine is looking to sell his PC and Monitor. Specs are as follows:

- CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 7500F AM5 Processor

- CPU Cooler - Deepcool AG400 Plus Air Cooler

- Motherboard - MSI PRO B650M-P

- RAM - Corsair Vengeance 16GB 5600MT/s DDR5 RAM

- Storage - Gigabyte 512GB Gen3x4 NVMe SSD

- Storage 2 - 1TB HDD

- Graphics Card - Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5060Ti Windforce 8GB

- PSU - Antec B650 650W 80+ Bronze PSU

- Casing - Raidmax X616 Casing. The casing has a bit of corrosion on it but it can be sanded down and repainted. The fans work fine but the ARGB is a bit iffy.

Apart from that, the CPU, Motherboard and RAM are only a few months old and still have warranty.

He's looking for around 250K for the whole thing along with a MSI 27" 180Hz 2K monitor.

Let me know if anyone's interested.

Thanks

Update: Price has been updated to 350K as he has managed to sort out a few things to help the family with the loss of a loved one.
