UON master's mental health research study- Non-invasive ultrasound vagus nerve stimulation

Hello all, there is currently a research study being conducted at the University of Nottingham School of Medicine by Master's Students. We are interested in examining the influence of non-invasive ultrasound vagal nerve stimulation on the gut-brain axis, emotional well-being, memory, and motivation in self-identified depressed individuals. We are looking for individuals that believe they are in overall good health, believe they have depressive symptoms, and are not suicidal. Individuals interested will be asked to attend 3 in-person sessions, one baseline session of around 30 minutes, and then 2 stimulation sessions of around 1 hour and a half. Each of these sessions would be 4 days apart and individuals who complete the study will be compensated up to £40 in vouchers. If interested please scan the QR code on the recruitment poster or click this qualtrics survery link.
