[Product request] Cerave combo didn’t work for me

Hi all. I am new into skin care and want to take care of my face. I saw a video for men claiming that all you need was a Cerave face cleaner and just a moisturizer cream for day and night + sunscreen. I tried those and still have black head and pimples in my face. Any suggestions?

My face tends to be oily, but I live in a dry place on earth. I also work a lot outdoors and do a lot of sports.

Thank you.

Log - 5/14/2026 *food warning*

I binged yesterday.

I bought a Daves triple combo with large fries, bacon fries and a medium frosty. Even though I didn’t eat the ice cream (I just tossed away) I feel like I let my food noise take me.

I am on vacation :)

Normally on my vacations I tend to binge like a mofo, but this time I am controlling myself. I am so happy about it. Normally, I would eat and eat and feel horrible, tired, and bloated the whole day. But this time I am managing myself.

Yesterday I went out to eat and had an appetizer and a main course with my wife. She couldn’t finish her food, so instead of me eating her whole plate I decided not to eat it. Later at night after a few drinks we had dinner, and we order two appetizers and then (because I was drunk) I decided to order a whole plate of nachos… now, the decision was purely out of binge eating thinking, I wasn’t hungry at all. But guess what? I didn’t eat the nachos! I ate just 1/4 of the plate and decided to stop because I was full already. Before I would’ve force myself to eat it but I didn’t.

Life so much better with these decisions, like really. I have energy and feel so good with myself.

Ups and downs

I am on vacation now, and when I am in vacation is when I binge the most. So far I am in my second week and surprisingly I haven’t binge at every meal. I had a total of 4 binges from last week to now and I am proud of it tbh. I’ve been more food conscious, eating slow and minding my stomach when I am full. Yes, I’ve had my drawbacks but I am so happy that I am bouncing back. For more info, before when I used to go to a vacation I three everything out of the window. I ate every meal with the goal of stuffing my belly till I couldn’t eat more at every meal. But now it’s just one meal that I sometimes binge.

So happy :)

Binged yesterday hard. Is middle of the week and normally when this happens i just throw my week and try to restart on Monday, but guess what? I did not binge today. I bounced back! My friends invited me to eat Chinese food after soccer and since I already had dinner I said no. Even I ate a spoon of ice cream today and stoped myself to eat more.

Might be an small achievement but I did it! So happy of myself.

Hi

I work in a camp site and we are not allowed to cook our own food in our dorms because it can trigger the fire alarm. We also don’t have any place available to cook our own food. My wife has chronic gastritis and it’s been getting worse from the food we get at the camp we are. I’ve been thinking of ways to cook on my dorm and one idea I had was to do sousvide because I believe it won’t emit any smoke. Do you think that would be a good solution for her situation? If yes, any sousvide you recommend for cooking batches of food? Thank everyone who answers.
