Sony Xperia 1V (T‑Mobile) Call Drops and Signal Loss

I have the Sony Xperia 1V (US variant XQ-DQ62). Tmobile. Currently on version: Android 15, 67.2.A.3.163. There was an update or something that happened last year where cell service is completely unstable. Here's what I've noticed:

  • I have full bars, when making a phone call (before it even rings), sometimes service completely drops and I get disconnected.
  • If somehow a phone call does get through, sometimes services completely drops and I get disconnected
  • when someone is giving me a call, sometimes they have to weight 20-40 seconds before it even rings.
  • If i have bars, I'm able to receive and send text messages. the issue doesn't seem to apply to this. however if I lose all bars, I cannot.

Some workarounds I've tried:

  • switching to LTE only makes it a bit more consistent however it's the same issue may arrise, or it may not work everywhere (depending on location). same thing applies to wcdma/gsm (it may be more consistent but location seems to be the deciding factor). Switching to 5g (NR) only, seems to give me bars however I cannot make or receive phone calls.
  • if the issue occurs turning on/off airplane mode may fix the issue. it is not consistent
  • using sony xperia companion, issue still occurs
  • I've also replaced sim card, issue still occurs We need to diagnose the issue as well as fix it. I do not want to factory reset my phone again. I'm comfortable connecting my phone to my computer, installing apps (as long as it's safe and open source), etc. You may ask me any questions or of that sorts

I'm aware there were earlier posts made but I want to make an update post seeing if other people are still having the same issue.

Honestly, I'm extremely frustrated with Xperia for not fixing this issue. One of the reasons why I spent good money on this phone is so that I can use this phone for 4-6 years but it seems like that it will not be the case. It was manageable when I was in college but now, I cannot afford to miss calls and such.

Trying to look for a fic where the mc isn't special but is trying to stand along side the greats

The best fic that comes to mind is "The Boy in the Team". Yes his "split personality" does make him unique but I feel that it makes sense for the situation and ultimately, it doesn't make him overpowered.

My favorite genre is action/drama and a bit of romance (here and there), however typically when it comes to naruto fics, the mc has something op, a cool power, etc which is something I'm not a big fan to be honest.

I'm just wondering if yall know any fics like what I'm trying to look for.

When the Sport X30 gonna release?

I've been using the x20 close to 2 years now, and I feel like it's time to upgrade. Will the X30 be releasing this summer or should I look elsewhere?
