Underbone is what alot of countries use to refer to Honda club style bikes. I've been looking for a step through motorcycle here in the US for a while. Specifically a new Chinese import as I have plenty of lifan engines and like to work on them, so I know I can keep one running.

Was part of a moped club back around 2005 and we were offered a sweet deal from a Chinese importer back then...$400 for a 50cc Honda cub made by jialing in China. Or the same for a more motorcycle variant, literally looked identical to the 125cc motorcycles made by hero in India...but I digress...I missed out!

Five years ago there were several actual cub clones being imported, but it seems like those sources have all dried up, and what I can find on Alibaba when not let me import a single bike...but I want a new step through frame motorcycle and can't afford a new cub....

Was going to get the boom Vader 125cc Grom clone. They seem well liked and reasonably put together...IF you understand what you are buying and can troubleshoot....but researching them, I found this thing(link below) which appears to be a later styled cub clone along the lines of the Honda wave, but with smaller wheels, akin to the underbones of Vietnam

I was wondering if anyone know if there is a specific bike this is cloning, it has a horizontal hondas engine, so isn't really a scooter......or if anyone has owned one. It really does appear to be just one of the MANY Chinese underbone horizontal hondas engine bikes you still see all over Vietnam.

I've found a website referring to it as the boom hurricane BD125-9... Whereas the Vader Grom clone is the bd125-10

Both are around a thousand bucks....but i really prefer this to the Grom clone with my old bad hips.... would be easier to mount ya know.

But yeah if anyone has owned one or knows where I can get or import another cub clone let me know. Thanks guys

I know a while back bajaj and lml stopped making the Vespa bikes in india.but they did have all the stamping and tooling equipment to make them. Now I'm seeing Chinese electric Vespa px scooters and what look like adapted gy6 engine 150's that also appear to be using actual Vespa stampings. Like the roketa Europa and amigo Bellagio.

I was excited for a second, thinking these could be four stroke Stella's being made in China, but they do appear to have modded frames to accept a gy6. But boy does the majority of the bike appear to be from lml tooling .

The electric ones in particular look like they are using almost the entirety of a Vespa frame, with provision added for a simple swingarm and hub motor....but otherwise it appears you could literally bolt on a px engine.

Anybody know more?

Not gonna lie, this thing isn't very intuitive. Or I just got old.lol keep removing and adding games to the favorites list on accident pressing the wrong buttons. Was REALLY hoping it had an actual suspend mode but it does, just comes right back on...so I gotta save the game ant turn it off every time but I digress.

I wanna relive my old pokemon days cheating the hell out of blue and red. I have an authentic unit running across. Replaced the sd card etc

One of my biggest regrets in life was back in 2005. I was a part of this club called the mopedarmy and and a small cycle importer called wildfire offered us a sweet deal..$400 for a Chinese jialing made 50cc cub clone, or a more motorcycle styled ss50 clone for the same price. Shipped to our door

I have a few lifan engines around and am very familiar with horizontal hondas, so the Chinese part doesn't scare me at all. Another big regret is no longer having any of the probably 60 super cubs and trails I owned during my 20's.lol

Prices have went through the roof since I'm sure of...but I'd love to pick up a cub clone...

Justifying it is hard because for $900 right now I can get a 125cc Grom clone from an importer that has them stateside, literally on Amazon.., but for some reason it seems nobody is importing cubs, same with the multitude of $700 Chinese 50cc scooters that used to BE EVERYWHERE... I know I could get one shipped to me from overseas but I'm still stuck on the price as why wouldn't I just get the $900 Grom clone that's 125cc and already in the states..when a cub clone would be more expensive and I'd have to find a seller that ships individually

Bought from the boyome store or whatever it's called as recommended and linked here. So I know it's not a clone.

When I press the power button to turn it off the led just changes color and stays on. After that ANY button or input brings it back to life, to the point where I can barely set it down without is coming back on. Is there some fix for this so only the power button will turn it back on?

Also, a weird one. I was trying out the different ui themes last night and found the amount of games would change depending on theme. One would say 200 SNES games, the other 1800 for example. Is this normal? For example the console has NEVER listed banjo kazooie in n64 which honestly upset me after it arrived. But I switched to another theme and boom, there was 200 more n64 games listed. But none of the new listings would load. Weird(I know now that n64 games don't work well, I just mean I selected it and it tried to load and returned to the menu)
