Best convertible car seat

My baby boy is growing out of his infant car seat much quicker than i anticipated and I’m looking to find the best convertible car seat so I only ever need to buy one more. I’m currently using the Nuna Pipa RX and it’s worked great for us. Finding the right stroller/car seat was definitely the most daunting part of preparing for my baby so I’d love some advice from experienced moms! He’s almost 4 months and 20lbs so he’s a pretty big boy. I’d love to hear anyone’s thoughts!

Breastfeeding help

My boy is 8 weeks old and we’ve been EBF since he was born. About 4 days after I gave birth i started getting large painful cracks that still have not healed and cause me a considerable amount of pain when he eats. I’ve been working with a lactation consultant weekly, I’ve had 3 different consultants at this point. The next step they want me to take is using a nipple shield. I’m not completely opposed to it but I’d almost rather just deal with the pain than have my baby sucking on plastic every time he eats. Him breastfeeding and being as natural as possible is very important for me. He has no ties and great oral function so the problem almost has to be me. We’ve tried different positions, pumping before i feed him, “flipple”, taking a few breaks to bottle feed after pumping but the pain is still persisting. I even have a prescription for APNO cream that gave me a small bit of pain relief but the cracks have only gotten worse. Some days the pain is so bad I’m screaming when he latches and crying throughout the day. I believe it’s the result of having a fast let down and him clamping down to slow the flow. Every time I’m done feeding him my nipple comes out either completely creased or lip stick shaped. I’ve tried reclining and side laying but didn’t have luck with any improvement. Even pumping to catch the first let down, his initial latch afterwards is extremely painful. Does anyone have advice or tips on what else I can do at this point? I’m feeling very discouraged as I’m paying $100 a week for lactation and still not getting anywhere.

Best baby carrier??

I currently have the Wildbird aerial newborn buckle wrap for my 5 week old who is 11lbs but haven’t been able to use it as the seat doesn’t seem adjustable and it’s not comfortable for his legs. I got it on the recommendation of a friend but as a FTM i didn’t even know that was something i needed to think about. Anyways, I’d love some recommendations for a good carrier because i have a Velcro baby that doesn’t want to be put down but i also need to get things done around the house!
