my dog is with a family member right now while I’m on vacation. they told me he was “playing with rat poison” in their back yard. he had it in his mouth but they don’t think he was chewing on it. this happened yesterday at like 5/6pm? he’s a 12lb 10yr old morkie. it was these yellow bars called “just one bite“.

they tried to take him to the vet but all the vets in the area were closed for the night. he’s been acting totally normal and is acting normal again this morning. should we still take him to the vet?

to be completely honest if we don’t have to I don’t want to take him simply because I’m a college student paying out of pocket and I don’t really have the money. but at the same time I can’t lose my dog. He’s eaten 90% cacao chocolate before and Pawp online vets and google all said I needed to take him to the vet or he’d die. it was too late to induce vomitting and he ended up being completely fine after a few hours and we were left with a fat vet bill.

and now I don’t know whether to believe if my dog really is going to die if I don’t take him to the vet or if its just exaggerated so I spend a bunch of money on the vet

Hey! i did the ucentre tour but they were only able to tour me the 4x4 A. I really want to see or get a feel for the 4x4 B tho. Does anyone have any pictures or even just insights on the space?

Also, is it worth it to pay the extra $10 for a pool view?

I'm transferring to another college next year, and I wanted to get a summer job so that i'd have something to keep me busy.

I have a on campus job that pays me $10 and hour, but its so boring and its always empty here especially since its the summer. What makes it worse is that all the other student workers left for the summer too so its literally just gonna be me sitting at a front desk doing absolutly nothing. And im the type of person where i just hate not having people around me and if i dont get any social interaction I start to get depressed, plus i dont want to waste my summer not making any friends or doing anything.

I wanted to work at either a coffee shop or in the mall at a retail store, but the mall is a 35 minute commute from where i live, which might not be too bad because i commute 30 minutes everyday anyway to school (i live in a small town and commute 20-30 min to the bigger town, i usually tell people oh i just sleep in x town and live in y town) and it seems like the only job open would be aeropostle but i can check and see if the hollister or lululemon is hiring.

My other option would be to apply for the dutch bros thats hiring in my area, or the seven brew that im pretty sure isnt hiring.
