Seems to be working? But one small problem.
Okay, so I posted a couple of weeks ago that I thought I had the hang of it this time. Looks like I might. It's a S - L - O - W go, but it IS going. I'm not weighing. I have "measuring clothes." My measuring shorts, which I could barely button when I started 18 days ago, are now just my shorts, because they fit and I can wear them. I have moved down to a smaller pair of measuring shorts, and they are quite snug around my midsection, but seem to be fitting a bit better every day.
It's hard not to get on the scale, but if I do and see that it hasn't moved -- or, God forbid, gone up -- I know I will get derailed. So I'm staying the course as-is for now.
I mostly eat the same thing for breakfast every day -- protein shake, zucchini muffin, berries or clementines. I'm still building my other meals and snacks around high-protein and zero-point foods. If I see I'm close to the top of my calorie bracket and I still have points left, I don't use them. If I've used all my points but I'm below my bracket, I'll allow myself some weeklies/activities.
So here's my problem: Bloating. I wake up with a flat stomach and feeling great. By the end of the day, I look 10 pounds heavier and mushy. I tend to drink a lot of La Croix (3 or 4 per day) and I'm wondering if this is it? I don't think it's dairy, because I don't have any other lactose intolerance symptoms like gas or stomach upset. Possibly wheat? I hope not. I love me some bread. Does anyone else have this from the carbonated drinks? I really hate to give them up, but I will if I have to.
