[URGENT] Need a 9-month Capstone Mentor with TikTok/Affiliate Experience (High School Senior)

Urgent request!! I'm starting a 9-month economics/social media Capstone project where my goal is to become an influencer [ my goal is 10k followers total between platforms ] in the beauty, lifestyle, and fashion realm to study ROI and digital engagement.

I'm looking for a creator mentor who can act as a big sister/advisor for the project. I don't need heavy time commitments—just medium/low check-ins where you can toss me content ideas, give feedback on video concepts, and help me refine my strategy while I handle all the data tracking and analytics. But if you’re experienced in that area of content creating that would be AMAZING!

My proposal is due in 3 days, so I need someone willing to sign off as my project advisor this week! If you love talking content strategy and want to help a student out, please comment and DM me!

Holistic admissions question

Has anyone gotten in from an under resourced school / just above average ecs?

I heard Boston U does admissions holistically, and my school is crap so i’m wondering who was is in a similar situation!

My school offers:
2 APs, less than 7 clubs (?), math caps at Alg 2, history isnt required, four periods a term, most unorganized establishment ever, no connections to DECA HOSA etc, located in such an irrelevant place too😭😭

Im feeling so discouraged bc the standards and resources at my school are so low but this is my dream university. I do try my best within my restraints ofc (not sharing my own stats bc i dont wanna break the community rules) but ohhh am i stressed ab not being enough😮‍💨

Anyone that was in a similar situation & got in?

Co 27 & i know no math

Hey!

Im a HS senior and im taking College Algebra come fall. I accidentally opened a study quizlet earlier and realized im COOKED.

Nowadays if your classmates dont know a topic, the entire class can’t move on. I haven’t learned any math past algebra 1. I mean he showed us sin cos tan but not the substantial parts with graphs and stuff.

I’m actually pretty good at math, esp when instructions are clear. So I trust myself studying.

Do I need to study before I start in August? If so, what and who/where?

I’m not dropping the class, I need it to graduate. Thanks!

Results of irresponsible med usage, need advice

Hey all! I’m a rising senior and I’m absolutely terrified of going back to school.

I’ve been having mental health issues since I’ve moved (~2 yrs ago) and since then been on meds. There was a point where I had accidentally stopped taking them and i’ve been messed up since.

I have zero motivation to do any schoolwork whatsoever. I have a 4.3 GPA, so this is OBVIOUSLY uncharacteristic for me but i just cant. Last semester I only had one class, luckily first period, and i’d leave school to rot in bed for the rest of the day. I used AI for all of my assignments, found every excuse to skip class, and waited until the last minute to do work because I knew my grades counted on me.

I feel like a slug every day, my brain can’t focus that well anymore it seems. Perhaps that was a bit exaggerated but it became a concern for me very recently. I got a job (woo!) and i had to fill out two forms. I’ve had these papers for almost a month now and i have zero desire to send them in, complete them, or even touch them because i associate it with work i have to do.

This is genuinely concerning to me and I can’t have this energy senior year, as i’ll only have college classes & i want them to translate well for when i graduate. **During this period i DID have a therapist & i do have a psychiatrist, ive just not mentioned that to her and my therapist is gone.

I’m unsure what to do because I’m planning on applying to competitive schools & as of rn i’m cooked.

Not reaching gym goals

Hey. Im 18F and I’ve now been going to the gym for a month. I go 4 days a week and I have a comprehensive routine each day i go, followed by 25-30 mins on the treadmill. I think i’m 5’8 and I cant break 175-178 pounds. My goal is to be 145.

No matter what im doing there I just cant lose weight, and i’m getting discouraged because I’ve done my research and my forms good, im doing great cardio, and I always show up.

I dont lift excessively heavy and i do high reps lowish weights so i dont gain too much muscle or whatever. I dont eat junk food really because it upsets my stomach (soda, candy, etc) and i’ve been trying to eat lunch now that i go to the gym.. i dont understand what im doing wrong. I suspect its my diet but im not eating greasy food or slop! Maybe it’s me not getting enough protein, but im not sure how to fix that since I dont do the cooking in my house.

The only time I had lost actual weight was when i had compulsive exercise disorder but I dont have the energy to repeat that again, as i’d eat basically nothing 🥲

Can I have some advice? (No youre just a kid bs pls i need to lose this weight)
