FIP Cat - Missing a day??

Hi all,

My cat has just been diagnosed with wet FIP. As in, still in the vet coming out of sedation kind of thing.

They’ve given him his first dose of antivirals, but need to order in more as it’s not the kind of medication which just stays in the back office stocked up due to one UK supplier.

I am, admittedly, petrified about them ordering it tomorrow/tonight and he might miss a day of the antiviral course.

Will he be okay???

How do I 22F initiate a faultless break up with my boyfriend 25M?

(Cross posting due to lack of hope so if you see this twice - sorry)

Don’t really know how to start this but My Partner (25M) and I (22F) have been together since August of last year - so about 9 months now - and I think we’re not really going anywhere.

We don’t have much in common, really. We used to talk about work a lot and when we realised that’s kind of all we do, we put an hour limit on it per day.

I sat down with him and had a proper conversation about how little we just generally talk on the 28th of April and that day I opened up a note on my phone to keep track of things due to medical issues with my memory.

We’re now on the 11th of May and I have one thing in that note: “Blue, hates Green.”. We don’t even argue because we don’t talk enough to have anything to argue about. He’ll come to mine, go to sleep, we’ll scroll on phones in the morning and then he’ll leave.

The question isn’t do we need to break up because I know we do. I am so mentally bored (a lot goes on in my head all the time and I LOVE just pointless conversations of nothing. He doesn’t.) and I can’t imagine he’s much better. We sit in silence most of the time and not a Francesca Bridgerton and Michael Sterling nice kind of silence - it’s just absent silence.

I’ve never - ever - been the one to initiate a break up, but I know he won’t. He’s kind like that, he just wouldn’t do it to not hurt me. I don’t know how to start a break up, nevermind one where there is no villain and it just didn’t work.

Any advice would hugely help, here. Even if you think the break up is wrong, just something. Somewhere to go.
